Self-motivated and results-driven general manager to direct and manage our organization's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Development to achieve Revenue & Profitability Goals. Participate and develop the budget/forecast of the Singapore office
• Strategise to deliver the optimal profitability and utilization of freight space. Establish long term operations direction/objectives and specific strategies and action to achieve them. Setting business and financial goals, devise and implement all marketing and operating plans to drive the performance of the company on profits, market share, product range and service quality.
• Develop business activities, build and maintain excellent client relationship with clients / agents, etc.
• Develop all or any associated services that will maximize value creation, accelerate growth and achieve operational profit and excellence across all functions.
• Effective Operations Management to ensure committed service levels are met consistently.
• Ensure conformity of processes and documentation to company and industry standards.
• Review and enhance processes to achieve business objectives and operational effectively on a continual basis including periodical review of the operations for business process re-engineering.
• Retention of Customers through effective Client servicing & Relationship Management.
• Develop business infrastructure & expansion.
• Competitors monitoring & analysis.
• Team development (Selection, Appointment, Training, KPI allocation, Review mechanism, Retention etc).

REQUIREMENTS

Job Responsibilities:

Summary:

As General Manager, you lead your management team who represent Engineering, Production, Support, Project Management and Business Control departments. In total you oversee around 35 people of which the majority are located in the Singapore organisation. You work closely together with the Global Asset Manager, Product Manager eROV, Blue Robotics Team and report into the Global Director MAI.

To meet your objectives, you closely work with the local shared service teams and your internal and external clients. Internal clients are the MAI business and service line managers and external clients are mainly in the Chinese Joint Venture, for who you act as MAI Account Manager.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree (Science of Engineering)
