Job Description: SAP GTS Consultant

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to lead workshops with diverse stakeholders and provide expert hands-on knowledge across various functional areas of Global Trade Services (GTS). The ideal candidate will have recent, in-depth experience with SAP GTS and possess strong proficiency in managing trade compliance processes, customs operations, and related system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Workshop Facilitation:
   • Drive workshops with large and varied audiences, ensuring effective communication and requirement gathering.
   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align solutions with organizational trade compliance goals.
2. Trade Compliance Management:
   • Implement and optimize Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening using SAP HANA Search.
   • Manage compliance requirements, including license determination and classification of customs/export control lists.
3. Customs Operations:
   • Support Customs and Export Control List Classification processes.
   • Manage AU/NZ customs processes for both imports and exports.
   • Work with customs forms, including Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, and Shippers Letters of Instruction.
4. Risk and License Management:
   • Optimize Trade Preference Eligibility under risk management protocols.
   • Handle License Management/Determination for global trade operations.
5. Technology Enablement:
   • Utilize Fiori apps to enhance user interaction and workflows.
   • Implement and manage Customs Management Communication and broker integrations.
6. Documentation and Communication:
   • Create and manage Long-Term Supplier Declarations (LTSDs) and other essential documentation.

What you will be working on

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement a suite of technical services in Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) across AWS, Azure, GCP, integrating both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical services with existing systems.
• Participate in continuous enhancement and automation of operational processes into templates, playbooks, or other forms to ensure consistency in security compliance and scalability of services.
• Implement best practices for reliability, scalability, and performance of services.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to optimise cloud infrastructure and operations.
