Responsibilities:

• Support accounting and finance operation in APAC team.
• Ensuring timely and accurate month-end close.
• Understand basic consolidation process intercompany eliminations.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, and relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
• Coordinating and supporting audit and tax matters
• Partnering with regional accounting team to perform daily tasks.
• Help to prepare monthly financial management reports in magnitude and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Execute and understand SOX controls relating to group process and account(s).
• Support accounting and finance managers for end-to-end financial annual audit process on the entities managed, including preparation of annual accounts according to local GAAP.
• Support statutory tax compliance matters (Corporate Income Tax) and queries from IRAS and work closely with the Tax team.
• Support any ad-hoc projects and tasks from time-to-time as required.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must possess an understanding of Rahi’s business priorities and be able to evaluate those in the context. Must be able to achieve results in a matrixed, culturally diverse organization.

• Accounting degree or equivalent from a well-known university CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Strong desire to learn and grow.
• Sound knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communicator at all levels internally & externally with all stakeholders.
• Ability to create and build a sustainable network internally & externally with all stakeholders.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
