The Field Collection Collector is responsible for visiting clients to collect outstanding payments and ensure a timely debt recovery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle sensitive financial matters with discretion.

What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian

·       Responsible for debt collection and management activities through house visits and other appropriate actions as assigned by collections officers

·       Carrying out proper investigation, analysis and observation of house visited

·       Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client interactions

·       Updating the office immediately on information obtained on house visits

·       Attending urgent or impromptu meetings held in the office

·       Collaborate with the internal team to improve collection strategies and processes

·       Achieving collection targets driven by corporate goals 

·       Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations during collection activities

·       Any other matters assigned

Accounts Officer

Responsibilities

• Review of reconciliation reports for Banks, AP, intercompany and other balance sheet accounts.
• Handling the bank payments.
• Responsible for timely and accurate accounting close.
• Preparation of monthly reports and other analysis reports.
• Providing finance advice and proactive support to the management and business operations.
• Drafting of financial statements / tax computation.
• Liaison with auditor / tax consultant / company sectary for statutory reporting.
• Continuously driving process improvement.
• Up keeping of strong internal control system and corporate governance.
• Assist in the creation of new processes and system implementation when required.
• Any other duties or projects assigned by the Management

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong interest in finance industry developments, especially surrounding regulatory and technical updates (e.g. IFRS, tax developments, domestic regulatory developments)
• Experience in financial services or fintech will be a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel - lookups, pivot tables, conditional formulas
• Self-driven, meticulous, organized, team player
• Willingness to adapt, be versatile, and take on tasks outside of pre-defined job scope to solve problems
• Good English and Chinese written and verbal communication skills, reading and conversational skills will be an advantage
