Job Overview

The Carbon Commercial Specialist will play a pivotal role in LDC’s Sustainability and Energy Transition team in Asia, combining both analytical and commercial expertise in the rapidly evolving carbon credits market. This position focuses on MRV of the company's GHG emissions, analyzing supply and demand trends, policy developments, and commercializing the company’s carbon credits portfolio. The role will involve developing relationships with key stakeholders, including end-buyers, brokers, and intermediaries, to drive growth and identify new opportunities in the voluntary carbon market.

Main Responsibilities

• MRV of the Company's GHG Emissions: Collect and monitor Scope 1,2 & 3 data of the company's assets, apply appropriate models for the generation of monitoring reports and assist external verifications on the GHG emissions of individual asset.
• Market Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze market trends and macroeconomic fundamentals in the carbon credits market across Asia. Provide actionable insights related to supply/demand dynamics and policy developments to help manage and optimize the company’s carbon credits portfolio.
• Policy & Regulatory Tracking: Monitor and analyze global and regional policy developments within the voluntary and mandatory carbon market, identifying opportunities and potential risks that could impact the company’s carbon credit transactions in Asia.
• Market Intelligence Reporting: Distribute weekly market updates to the Sustainability and Energy Transition team, summarizing key policy, market, and trade highlights relevant to the carbon credits market.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the carbon credit ecosystem, including end-users, intermediaries, brokers, wholesalers, and consultants. Develop and nurture a network of commercial relationships to support the growth and success of the carbon credits portfolio.
• Transaction Execution & Commercialization: Identify and close spot over-the-counter carbon credit transactions with counterparties. Ensure the timely and accurate entry of trades into position management systems and monitor P&Ls to guide commercial strategy. Collaborate with back-office teams to ensure seamless delivery of carbon credits and compliance with registries.
• Internal Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the development of a carbon expertise center within the organization, fostering the integration of carbon credit strategies across the full value chain. Organize and participate in internal workshops, training, and presentations to share insights and knowledge.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Sustainability, Trading, and Compliance to ensure alignment and execution of the company’s carbon market strategies. Support the wider team with business development and strategy initiatives.

Role Summary:

You are responsible for ensuring robust infrastructure, managing servers, databases, analyzing system operations, and supporting digital transformation in semiconductor manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the IT infrastructure to ensure the seamless operation of a semiconductor intelligent manufacturing.
• Handling digital transformation initiatives within the organization to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences:

• Strong understanding of semiconductor technology is preferable.
• Knowledge of SPC, FDC, CIM, and Full Automation
• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
• Capability of RTD (Real-Time Dispatching) is a plus.

The Service Delivery Operations Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the service delivery team. This role involves leading a small team, handling service level reporting, and resolve any potential defects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of service delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of service delivery analysts.

- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance, and improvement strategies.

2. Service Level reporting

- Establish and manage the weekly reporting of the Service level agreement.

- Ensure the Service Level agreement is met by the Service Delivery Team.

- Coordinate and execute end-to-end testing activities, ensuring quality and efficiency.

3. Control Risk Testing

- Design and implement control risk testing frameworks and procedures.

- Conduct regular control risk assessments and testing to identify potential issues.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to address and mitigate identified risks.

4. Service Delivery Operations

- Oversee the daily operations of the service delivery team to ensure timely and efficient service.

- Monitor service delivery metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are met.

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.

5. Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Act as the primary point of contact for service delivery-related inquiries and issues.

- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on service delivery performance.

6. Documentation and Reporting

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and testing results.

- Prepare and present regular reports on service delivery operations, testing outcomes, and risk assessments.

7. Technical skillsets

- Mainframe, COBOL, Java, Cloud Architecture (i.e., AWS)

- Able to troubleshoot across the different environment by identifying the technical root issue.

- Provide recommendation to resolve the technical root issues and facilitate further discussion with the technical teams.

• Manage the day-to-day running and maintenance of IT systems (servers, networks, applications) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Guide and support junior team members, contributing to the development of IT operational standards and procedures.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient operations.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to support IT projects, including planning, upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and SLAs to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with finance teams to manage IT budgets, procurements, and financial planning.
• Address and resolve escalated IT issues and incidents, serving as a key technical contact for troubleshooting and support.
• Analyze IT performance metrics and KPIs, generating reports to track performance and identify improvement areas.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in supporting IT infrastructure operations within the ICT industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, servers, PCs, mobile devices, Office applications, and PDF tools.
• Experience with managing incident response processes efficiently.
• Proficient in system administration tasks and familiar with various operating systems.
• knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking technologies, ITILv4, AWS, Azure, Cisco, HP, Dell, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and SolarWinds.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality and dependable work consistently.
