• Manage and grow customer base on the assigned product range and territories (Singapore).

Job Description

• Design application deployments and upgrades in customer environment. Follow customer processes and standards.
• Plan and execute application deployments, upgrades and data migrations. Being able to drive discussions with customer and stakeholders to solve issues.
• Provide input to project managers and architects for SOW.
• Technical leader role in supporting applications running in customer environment follow ITIL standards.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Computing/Information Technology or related field
• Should have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in applications maintenance and support.
• Possess MES Simatic IT (Siemens) knowledge.
• Previous experience in managing application using IIS and MS SQL 2008/2012 is required.
• IBM MQ Series middleware.
• Development Experience in C#, PowerShell and SQL scripting are highly beneficial.
• Able to work 24 x 7 support; on-call to solve critical issues on production systems during non-office hours on rotational basis.
• A working understanding of infrastructure elements, such as virtualization, networking, firewalls and storage.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to look at the bigger picture and resolve issues.
• Experienced in Microsoft technologies.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/shop-floor related application management is welcome.
• Knowledge of MES, IBM MQ, Oracle Universal Content Management is beneficial.
• Able to work in autonomy but also able to sync up with other support/project teams based in UK and Singapore.

Primary Purpose

This position provides the desktop support for the first contact point for customers, you will be responsible to provide prompt assistance to customers, addressing a range of IT topics and issues. Besides, you will ensure that software, licenses and operations comply with standards.

Criteria

1. At least 2 years IT Service Desk experience or,

2. At least 1 year in IT Remote Support experience or,

3. At least 1 year IT Onsite/Desktop Support Experience

Responsibilities

· Ability to guide the team and resolve incident escalated by Desktop Support Engineers in confirming the validity of the problem and seeking and researching for known solutions related to these more complex issues.

· Performed Desktop Support services to users

· This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests and escalating incidents when necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and SLA expectations.

· Perform imaging/re-imaging

· Perform asset inventories

· Perform technical escalation to 3rd party vendor or resolver groups (where appropriate)

· Updates Incident records

· Creates and updates work instructions (where necessary)

· Document standards and procedures (where necessary)

Requirement

· Min. ITE/Diploma graduate with 3 years experience in desktop support

· Min 3 years experience in Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365

· Clear Spoken & Written English.

· possess at least one (1) of the following certifications or their equivalent:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate; and
