Summary of the Role :

As a ServiceNow Developer, the primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement

solutions using the ServiceNow platform.

The role requires to work closely with stakeholders, system administrators, and other development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective ServiceNow solutions. The expertise in ServiceNow development will contribute to improving processes, workflows, and user experiences within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collect the requirements, design, develop, configure, test, implement, support and improve ServiceNow ITSM tool.
• Customize ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, workflows, and user interfaces based on business requirements.
• Analyse the business operation needs and translate into technical requirement.
• Support, troubleshooting, administration, perform patching and upgrades of ServiceNow.
• Write server-side scripts, client-side scripts, business rules, and UI policies using ServiceNow's scripting language.
• Customize and extend ServiceNow functionalities using platform features like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Macros, and Service Portal.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver successful ServiceNow projects.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for ServiceNow applications and functionalities.
• Advise on tools technology adoption based on business & technical consideration.
• Propose integration strategies for the various technology components to achieve a holistic solution.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with implementation and support of ServiceNow modules.
• ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Application Developer) is a Must Have.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, with hands-on experience in ground up implementations with ServiceNow products.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with ServiceNow scoped applications and all scripting module experience including client scripts, business rules, workflow, flow designer, script includes, UI actions, UI macros, UI pages etc. custom application development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and widget development (Angular JS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
• Knowledge and experience integrating ServiceNow using platform APIs and integration tools is a Must Have.
• Hands-on development and customization of ServiceNow applications.
• Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding and carrying out all tasks given by the Senior Engineer.
• Collaborating with other engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve products and engineering processes.
• Ensuring all expenses stay within the allocated budget.
• Performing regular inspections of equipment and scheduling maintenance or repairs.
• Providing assistance to different staff or engineering teams.
• Inspecting inventory and reporting inconsistencies as well as ordering more materials.
• Producing CAD drawings according to specifications.
• Evaluating all products and processes and ensuring standardization of quality assurance measures.
• Participating in various learning experiences, which may include attending workshops and training sessions.
• Calibrating and troubleshooting equipment as required.
