[What you will be working on]

Your key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating students' applications for financial assistance schemes

• Advising students and their parents on fee payments and plans

• Liaising with external agencies on bursaries, career-counselling, student insurance, surveys and other student-related matters

• Organising student activities and programmes

• Liaising with self-help groups for our students' welfare

• Overseeing the production of our students' concession and other cards

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities include the following:

• Liaise and collaborate with our staff and student users to identify and respond to their teaching and learning needs, through provision of our Library services and digital library resources.

• Identify and evaluate emerging trends and developments relevant to academic libraries and vocational education, and recommend best practices for a digital-first library.

• Produce user education and engagement content for digital and print publicity channels.

• Collate, analyse and write library reports, including reports relating to library performance, statistics, survey and feedbacks;

• Support Library Digitalisation initiatives and projects using data analytic applications such as Power BI and Alma Analytics to discover user needs and enhance our digital services.

[What we are looking for]

• Experience creating and curating digital content and using digital marketing and social media channels to engage our users and promote our library services.

• Good knowledge in emerging digital trends and technologies and its applications in the library; experience in Ex Libris’ Alma, Primo VE and Library Mobile App would be an advantage.

• Excellent writing, oral communication and presentation skills; and experience in conducting workshops and training, in particular information literacy classes is preferred.

• Ability to adapt and contribute to a diverse team of staff and adopt a user-centred approach in the provision of library services.

• Background in professional Library or Information Science with relevant working experience in academic library is a bonus.

• You will formulate and implement policies on assessments related to lifelong learning, at the workplace and also at ITE colleges

• You will work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and administer valid, reliable and fair assessments for various trade areas

• You will be involved in developing and deploying computerised systems to support robust assessment processes

• You will guide and audit training partners to ensure that assessment standards are upheld across different training schemes

• Your operational duties include facilitating and supporting the conduct of assessments from the nomination of assessment personnel, scheduling of assessments, developing assessment instruments, processing and analysis of results
