Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the team of AEs and TOs in performing PM and CM tasks in compliance with the relevant Standard Operating Procedures and instructions contained in Quality Procedures, Work Specifications, Work Instructions, and any relevant change instructions disseminated.
• Supervises and ensures that PM and CM works are executed in accordance with the established standard procedures / requirements.

Experience & Education:

· The candidate shall have a minimum of ten (5) years of construction experience, of which about five (3) years shall be in managing the construction of projects of similar size and complexity to the project

· Construction manager in Infrastructure (LTA) project (depot, underground metro, road tunnel and etc.)

· Mechanical Engineering degree holder

· More than 10-year experience in the construction industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Supervise contractors to ensure work aligns with design intent, specifications, and contractual standards.
• Daily Oversight: Maintain a detailed Site Diary to track daily activities, events, and surveillance.
• Meetings and Coordination: Participate in site progress, technical, and consultants’ meetings to stay aligned on project goals.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with installation requirements and standards, tracking key submissions like shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Progress Tracking: Report progress against schedules with monthly updates; prepare and manage lists of outstanding or non-compliant work items.
• Issue Resolution: Address coordination issues on-site, collaborating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Site Inspections: Plan, coordinate, and conduct site inspections and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) with stakeholders.
• Defect Management: Compile and monitor defects with consultants and contractors for efficient issue resolution.
• Special Projects: Lead and support special projects as directed by the Reporting Officer.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of site experience in healthcare or built environment sectors.
• Healthcare Project Experience: Skilled in supervising Additions and Alterations (A&A) works in healthcare or similar environments.
• Project Management Skills: Strong planning, coordination, and project management abilities, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel; 3D SketchUp is a plus.
• Team Collaboration: A proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic project needs.
• Communication & Reporting: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail in reporting and progress tracking.

Responsibilities:

• Able to understand structural drawing, specifications and requirements
• Supervise structural/architectural works, co-ordinate with client's representatives
• Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub contractor to perform on site work
• Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period
• Ensure the quality of work
• Responsible for implementing the work plan of the Project Manager
• Prepare daily progress report and work schedule
• Oversee quality control and safety and health matters on site

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Good communication skill and able to interact with all level of staff
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company

Working under the Project Manger to complete the project on time, which include: -

1. Check and monitoring of site progress and resolving of site issues with clients
2. Follow up with factory for production order, delivery schedule, etc
3. Update QS on progressive claim, variation order, etc
4. 2-3 years cabinetry installation and site management experience
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
6. Advantage if with experience using computers for a variety of tasks
