Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Robot Navigation Scientist/Engineer to join our Robotics Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing indoor/outdoor navigation capabilities for our robotic systems, with a focus on 2D/3D map generation and localization, modularization, and system integration. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the navigation capabilities of our robots, ensuring smooth and efficient operation in diverse environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaborative projects focusing on indoor/outdoor navigation (e.g., algorithm development, sensor integration, map generation and maintenance, localization techniques, path planning and optimization, etc.) for robotics intelligence, with the aim of accomplishing research and business goals.
• Develop holistic solutions for innovative projects involving intelligent mobile robots (e.g., delivery and engagement robot).
• Conduct prototyping activities including testing and validation in simulation and real-world environments to assess the overall technological performance and to identify and address issues, ensuring the robustness of the navigation system.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of robotics scientists and engineers, working across different disciplines, to deliver mobile robotic systems.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of navigation algorithms, system configurations, and testing procedures. Create user guides and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Key requirements

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in computer science, electrical and electronics engineering, robotics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in developing navigation algorithms for robotic systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or ROS1 and ROS2.
• Experience with sensor integration and calibration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
• Enthusiasm for autonomous mobile robots and proficient in map generation, localization, path planning, motion control, and decision-making frameworks.
• Additional experience in robot vision is advantageous.
• Highly experienced candidates will be considered for senior positions.
• Must be results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Job Requirements

• Candidate with good understanding of Application, Information, and integration implementation.
• Candidate should have at least min. 5years experience in any of the following areas:Good experience with Core Java and/or Web UI Technologies (HTML, CSS, JQuery, REST/SOAP) and/or Web/UI framework (Apache , Spring, Spring Boot Hibernate)
  Must have - Kubernetes, Mircoservice and CICD
• Ability to develop sensible, simple solutions to complex problems
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to deliver innovative , and realistic solutions to complex clients problems
• Must hold at leas t Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant.

The Successful Applicant
