JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the monthly group consolidation and liaising with oversea subsidiaries finance team.
• Responsible for the full set account of Singapore entities within Hotel Royal Limited Group, including preparation of draft financial statements for statutory audit.
• Responsible for overall accounting, financial and management reporting.
• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, providing guidance to the account executive and account assistants.
• Liaising with internal and external auditor, tax agent and relevant government bodies, if any.
• Preparing quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgets.
• Development of parameters and setting of chart of accounts, controls, input and output documents, monitoring etc. within Singapore entities.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

• Possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent a full certificate in ACCA Accounting qualification certified by Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
• Possess at least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experiences in the same capacity and preferably from the hospitality industry.

As the Tax Senior/Tax Assistant Manager reporting to the Tax Partner/Tax Director, you'll play a crucial role in leading a team of tax professionals and ensuring compliance services for our clients. Here's a detailed outline of your responsibilities:

1. Review and File Tax Returns: Oversee the review and filing process for Singapore corporate tax and individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
2. Team Leadership: Provide supervision and guidance to your team of tax staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality output.
3. Support to Tax Director: Assist the Tax Director, particularly on ad hoc assignments, and collaborate to meet annual filing deadlines effectively.
4. Client Interaction: Address queries raised by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), manage tax audits and investigations, and promptly respond to technical and customer tax queries.
5. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Act as a proactive team player within your department and across other departments, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional client service.
6. Client Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax and personal clients, including local and international entities spanning various industries.
