Working as a tax senior

Your scope of work as follows:

• Work on tax and related assignments under the supervision of managers and partners to ensure that assignments are executed based on the relevant professional requirements and on a timely basis.

1. Assist to prepare corporate and individual tax computations and returns
2. Responsible for day-to-day administration and compliance for various tax matters
3. Assist in other tax tasks required under the applicable laws and regulations.

• Provide guidance and supervise the work of junior colleagues on tax and related assignments;
• Assist managers and partners in the administrative functions of client portfolio management;

Responsibilities :

• Work closely with accounting shared services in Philippine and Malaysia to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
• Review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation prepared by accounting shared services in Philippine and Malaysia
• Prepare withholding tax return, GST return, declaration and related documentation requested by the tax authority.
• Support the business and management in any business analysis, projects, initiatives, and other duties assigned.
• Provide financial/accounting support to other departments/ business units
• Review, enhance, participate, and implement financial and control process improvement

Funding Plan & Bank Counter Transactions

Operational Analysis (Collaboration)

Output detailed monthly individual reports corresponding to each account (revenue, expenses).

Tax Declaration

Annual declaration using reports that comply with Singapore accounting policies, including individual income tax declaration and social insurance contributions (system).

Annual Audit Report Coordination

Coordinate with external auditors to produce the annual audit report based on monthly reports that comply with Singapore accounting policies.

Documentation (According to Template)

Create a full set of documents in the name of Singapore for customers for customs clearance (invoices, packing lists, detailed lists, bills of lading, and other documents required by customers) - Customs clearance documents.
