About the Role
A team member who will be assisting our Customer Centricity and Ops strategy, by working on projects/enhancements on the opportunities to identify area where automation or e-submission can happen including new products that will be launch. You will be also supporting the user requirements of the system enhancements for Life Operations.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Active involvement in delivery and implementation of strategic initiatives and BAU enhancements requested by the business.
- Lead discussions with the business on understanding the processes and document the rules and enhancements that are needed.
- Prepare and review that the business requirements are comprehensive and they meet the business needs taking into consideration future needs and changing business needs.
- Evaluate alternative high-level solutions with Information Technology and make appropriate recommendations to the users.
- Conduct/review user requirements and responsible for requirement sign off.
- Collaborate and prioritize the changes needed with other key stakeholders in the business requirements so that the agreed launch timeline will not be impacted.
- Contribute to the overall planning and resources required, effective monitoring of the project status and plans.
- Provide requirements to Solution Analyst and Support Specialist.
- Prepare/review training materials and updating SOP documents.
- Actively seek continuous improvements in her/his area of expertise so that she/he continues to be relevant to the business.
- Perform ad hoc duties which will involve the need to support processing of service requests.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are able to adapt to dynamic environments and manage multiple stakeholders. You also have:
- A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in insurance, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Working experience in life insurance operations and with knowledge in both operation and system areas are preferred.
- Integral Life (Life 400/Asia AS400) background is preferred.
- Experience in handling projects and product features
- Ability to be pro-active and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment to make things happen, meticulous and able to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to share and learn.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance and is a team player.
