You will support the Development Secretariat and Hospital Planning Committee (HPC) to set up the Biomedical Engineering (BME) department and ensure project execution, budget and quality of the development are in accordance with the established programme. This will include end-user briefings, operations requirements, systems design with technology partners, establish guidelines and project timelines. You will lead in the development and review of related policies and procedures to ensure compliance against regulatory framework. You will assist in optimising infrastructure capacity within the EGH Project as well as driving initiatives or re-defining processes that will enhance existing and future patients’ journey and care delivery. This includes mapping of patient journeys, identifying opportunities for innovations and forecasting the hospital’s workload and facilities projections to identify growth needs based on the long-term Campus Masterplan.

You will also facilitate workshops / meetings and work closely with the various hospital and project stakeholders to understand the project requirements and develop appropriate methodologies and databases for detailed data analyses and assessment to facilitate decision-making.

You will work with the planning team to support the operational and services development needs in EGH. You will work with stakeholders to develop operational models in line with the development of hospital services and care model, develop operational work flows and emergency response/security plans, co-develop work flow simulations based on various scenarios to test new models both virtually and on physical prototypes in the EGH Healthcare Living Lab. You will also develop procurement and resourcing plans to support assigned operations and support the operational readiness, activation and transition (ORAT) plan of the hospital.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position located in our @ Delta House. The ideal candidate will be available to work from 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The Clinical Research Coordinator functions as part of the research team involved in various clinical research projects.

You will act as liaison between subjects and members of the research team, obtaining relevant information by interviewing subjects and explaining aims and plan of the project in layman terms, address their concerns and questions and arranging for their informed consent.
