A day in the life

• Work to a pre-programmed pattern of cleaning throughout the club.
• Tidy, polish and scrub the bathroom areas to create a spotless and shiny changeroom experience for members.
• Ensure the studios are sparkling before each class by cleaning all equipment (bikes, boxing bags, weights etc) and wiping the mirrors and floor so they’re flawless.
• Assist with the Cleaning and preparation of the equipment required by each member in the gear-up area (boxing gloves, cleats, etc) in line with our customer experience.
• Advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for members and team members.
• Report any issues or faults you find that require a technical fix.
• Closely manage all cleaning needs stock and conduct regular stock counts to ensure everything is accounted for and all items are in good state of repair/not expired.
• Ensure all interactions are warm, queries are answered and feedback handled effectively.
• Find ways to give that little bit extra… especially when it’s unexpected.

1. Install, repair, maintain, operate, inspect and test an electrical installation where the operating voltage of such installation does not exceed 1000 volts and the approved load of such installation does not exceed 500 kVA;
2. Design and submit plans and drawings of an electrical installation where the operating voltage of such installation does not exceed 1000 volts and the approved load of such installation does not exceed 150 kVA, except that the limitation of 1000 volts shall not apply in the case of an Electric Discharge Lighting Circuit; and
3. Carry out any work or switching operation as instructed by or under the supervision of an authorised high voltage switching engineer.

• Supervise cleaning team leaders and team members
• Implementation of the processes and procedures
• Coordinate the cleaning team shift plan. Delegate tasks according to capability of staff and monitor results/outcome and give feedback.
• Escalate issues concerning changes in the cleaning team’s operations, procedures, or actions that may cause business interruption.
• Able to use communication skills to avoid/resolve conflicts, shows empathy and diplomacy, communicates proactively. Monitor and review the morale level of the cleaning team.
• Report and investigate any cleaning related or unusual incidents promptly and seek advice from the Facility Manager.
• Assist in the evaluation and assessment of the performance of service providers
• Check and ensure all cleaning equipment are always in functional and good condition. Report to the Facilities if any equipment needs to be serviced or repaired.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment
• Conduct routine safety inspections
• Ensure service providers engaged comply with the safety regulations, e.g. landscaping and pest control
• Arrange and give sufficient health and safety related trainings and guidance to the cleaning team
• Liaise with authorities as and when necessary, e.g. NEA
• Stock-take and inventory management of supplies and equipment, wirings, accessories, supplies to avoid any shortages
• Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained including but not limited to service/breakdown log, occurrence and incident reports and staff training records and instruction logs.

Requirements

• Nitec education and above with at least 2 years' relevant experience
• Prior experience in administration role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Service oriented attitude and possess good communication skills
• Good team player
• 44 per week (5 days' work week Mon - Fri), near Hillview MRT Station

• Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
• Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
• Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
• Inspects ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
• Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
• Cleans up worksite debris

Requirements:

• Proven experience as carpenter
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Willingness to always follow safety guidelines
• Good knowledge of English
• Good understanding of basic math
• Good physical condition and endurance
