The Senior Manager for Social Media Strategy is the driving force behind our digital presence. This individual is tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms, including TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. Key responsibilities include crafting innovative content, fostering engagement, analysing metrics, and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
• Identify and capitalise on emerging trends and opportunities in the digital landscape.
• Craft innovative content strategies tailored to each platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  

Content Creation and Management

• Create engaging and impactful content across social media platforms, including visuals, videos, and written copy.
• Maintain brand consistency and voice across all social media channels.
• Manage and curate content calendars, ensuring timely and relevant postings.
  

Engagement and Community Building

• Foster meaningful connections with our audience through active engagement and interaction.
• Cultivate a sense of community and brand loyalty among followers.
• Monitor and respond to audience feedback, comments, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  

Analytics and Reporting

• Track and analyse key social media metrics to measure performance and effectiveness of strategies.

Qualifications and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proven track record of at least 3 years in social media management, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
• Exceptional creativity and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in content creation tools, analytics platforms, and social media management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

EVENT & BRANDING MANAGER

Roles and responsibilities:

To take a leading role in the delivery of a major international client event in 2024, and assisting the team to deliver the other races in the yearly calendar. Focusing on exceptional client servicing, optimising processes, using technology and developing best practices to ensure event planning is completed on time, on budget, and with the highest quality, while managing the resources of the team.

Key areas of focus are:

Overall Event Coordination

• Attendance at regular client and stakeholder meetings
• Prompt response to client emails and other communications, answering questions and providing information
• Thoughtful ideation and preparation of plans before sharing with client for feedback
• Event management and coordination via Monday.com
• Leading and driving the team towards on-time and on-target task completion
• Preparation of race statistics documents, team handbook, post-event reports
• Pre-event task coordination such as vehicle hire, meal planning, accreditation passes, volunteer allocation, etc
• Preparation of team leader notes for Event Manager structure
• Post-event survey coordination (gathering questions from the team, building the survey using software, analysing and sharing results)
• Lead the post-event wrap-up (set debrief meeting, share debrief note template, prepare and share post-race task list, coordinate post-event marketing report
• Management of junior staff in the event coordination department

Third Party Coordination

• Liaison and management of contractors who assist various areas of event delivery (catering, entertainment, public relations etc)
• Management of MC, DJ including briefing note preparation
• Side activities, training facilities (sourcing and coordination)
• Any other areas as requested by management (FinisherPix, merchandise)

Branding

• Review of branding spaces at event venue
• Provision of suitable branding options to fit available space and existing structures
• Provide advice to designers regarding best materials to use for branding assets
• Liaison with contractor for production of branding assets according to specs given
• Oversee erection of branding according to pre-prepared guidelines and plans
