Main Responsibilities:

· Assist to liaise with events

· To participate in any projects or events organized

· Liaise with vendors and suppliers

· Organizing, Conceptualizing and execution of events.

· Responsible for planning, promoting and ensuring the smooth running of an event schedule

· Responsible to lead and direct an event staff

· Conduct pre and post event evaluations and report on outcomes; take initiatives to implement improvement plan

· Able to support with day to day administrative duties where required

· Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications

· At least Diploma and 4 years of working experience in managing events

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of a small but dynamic team within EDB’s Brand, Marketing and Communications division, focused on public communications to enhance EDB’s corporate reputation, positively shape perceptions of industries that EDB nurtures, and convey to local audiences the impact of EDB’s work on the Singapore economy and jobs. You will craft content and implement ideas for amplifying EDB’s work across a range of social media platforms to generate brand visibility and marketing leads, and also to drive audience growth and community engagement in Singapore and globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute channel-specific strategies for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube

• Write effective social posts/ads in an authentic voice for EDB that grab attention and engage platform users.

• Create social content across static and animated formats including carousel posts, document ads and short-form videos (IG Reels, IG Stories)

• Run social media campaigns to build an engaged community and nurture brand ambassadors

• Provide onsite support at events including capturing video content

• Ensure that daily operations run smoothly, including managing the social media calendar; scheduling posts using social media management tools; ensuring the final published posts are properly rendered within each platform’s specifications; and community management

• Test, measure, and improve the effectiveness of social content, recommending creative iterations to optimise performance and help achieve business goals

• Social media reporting and competitive analysis

• Stakeholder and agency management

[What we are looking for]

To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be: 

• At least 3 years of B2B marketing experience, with an understanding of integrated campaign planning across channels

• Strong interest in social media, with excellent writing skills

• Experience in content creation, creative design and experience running campaigns across different platforms

• Knowledge and experience with video content creation, including writing, producing, and editing video productions using software such as Premiere Pro and CapCut

• Experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Sprinklr and Adobe Analytics

• Committed to excellence in project execution and adept at managing priorities and timelines

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with TP’s internal marketing, creative teams to shoot, edit and produce inspiring, creative, innovative multimedia content which promote audience engagement in line with brand guidelines and overarching Corporate Communications objectives

• Develop and create content across various social media channels to increase brand awareness(creative & copy) editing photography, gifs, short video editing, stickers, stories (live + designed/posted), TikTok content

• Audit and analyse social media presence, engagement, following, analyse social trends and data and measure success of social media campaigns to justify the value of social media in building the brand

• Devise social media messaging through copy and visual elements, in synergy with wider brand marketing campaigns, storytelling, events and activations.

• Ensure content created is optimised for platforms and adhering to best practice

• Conduct competitor research, brainstorm new and creative content growth strategies, identify trends and insights, and optimise content and performance based on insights.

• Take an active role in driving and managing community management across all platforms (proactive and reactive)

• Create monthly, quarterly and annual social media report

PREREQUISITES

• Good, recognised diploma or degree in Visual Communication, Communication Design or Graphic Design-related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant working experience

• At least three years of relevant working experience as a social media content creator, social media manager or similar role

• Extensive knowledge of major social media platforms, principally: Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter, LinkedIn and Telegram

• Must have a creative eye and working knowledge of image editing, artwork creation and video production (camera work and post production)

• Solid understanding of social media trends, technologies and best practice and how they impact brand perception and performance

• Ability to multi-task and project manage various tasks simultaneously

• Strong interpersonal skills – should be able to work both independently and in a team environment with people at all levels
