SBDC is expanding! We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our marketing department in the education industry as a Social Media and Digital Marketing Executive.

Job Scope:

• Assist in managing and maintaining social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc
• Promote the company's brand and products/services through various social media platforms.
• Proficient in content creation, copywriting, and editing for social media platforms.
• Basic video creation and filming skills to create engaging and captivating social media content.
• Develop and implement strategies to create and publish relevant and compelling content on social media platforms, including posts, videos, images, and infographics.
• Development and execution of digital marketing strategies, and analyze and evaluate marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop and implement plans that enhance sales and marketing outcomes.
• Work with internal teams to optimize digital efforts and align them with sales objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements that impact the business.
• Handle day-to-day activities related to all digital marketing initiatives, including project management, creative development, campaign tracking, and reporting.
• Oversee and manage any additional digital projects assigned.

• Relevant experience in social media management, preferably as a social media executive or digital marketing executive.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide sales and administrative support for assigned events.
• Events management and operations including pre-event preparation, on-site execution, and post event closing.
• Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
• Handle client enquiries and requests
• Ensure the projects are implemented according to client’s expectation.
• Liaise with clients on project requirements and design concepts for events or exhibition.
• Generate ideas and concepts with team members.
• Liaise with in-house and client’s designers on 2D/3D visual design proposals, submission and approval.
• Prepare proposal and quotation, generate budget, and cost analysis upon completion of projects.
• Conduct site inspections and survey.
• Coordinate with event venues operator on set-up and logistic arrangements.
• Events logistics planning with internal & external team members for setup and tear down.
• Manage timeline, production and setup schedules.
• Coordinating with external vendors for audio, video and lightings setup.
• Submission of risk assessments and permits and ensure safety requirements at event venues.
• Administrative duties and manage other matters as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree/Diploma in events management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in MICE/Event Management industry.
• Good business acumen skills with the ability to execute budget and costing analysis in developing appropriate pricing strategies to identify opportunities and evaluate potential outcomes.
• Attention to details.
• Possess technical knowledge in conceptual design drawing, floor plan, furniture, material, and finishing will be an added advantage.
• Able to read construction drawings and visualise 2D/3D design presentations.
• Good team player.

Position Objective

The Social Media and Marketing Executive will be responsible for the Company’s social media platforms which includes monitoring user engagement and analysing feedback on a regular basis. This role will involved in developing and implementing marketing strategies, and create captivating content for all social media platforms to enhance audience engagement and drive business opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop social media strategies, marketing plans and content calendars to promote the services of the Company and its subsidiaries and affiliates.
• Manage and maintain the Company’s media platforms including websites, Instagram, FaceBook, and email/CRM software, marketing communications, promotion, etc.
• Participate in the lifecycle of video and social media content production, covering pre-production, production, and post-production phases, which includes incorporating music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
• Perform 2D & 3D Motion graphics
• Generate creative contents and ideas for video and social media projects; including 2D & 3D motion graphics.
• Ideate and develop promotional messages or branding content to execute new marketing ideas and drive business goals.
• Communicate with agents and external parties to generate new marketing strategies.
• Research, identify new market opportunities and execute to increase revenue.
• Manage social media platforms and audience bases to enhance market presence.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in relevant field, such as media production and design.
• Proven experience in digital marketing e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TiKTok and Youtube.
• Relevant skills and competencies e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Canva, Copywriting, Videography and Graphic Design.
• Knowledge of marketing analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

• Good Knowledge and able to execute with Ai, PS and Id.
• Photography and video skill.
• Digital Marketing skill (updating facebook, instagram, Tiktok and website post of product images)
• Handling of Marketplace online account, updating, posting of new products.
• Able to work with stress and critical thinking.
• Able to sketch.
• Class 3 driver license is a plus point.

Working day: Monday to Friday

Short working hour: 9.30am to 5.30pm
