JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for preparing and managing sales quotations, compiling sales reports, assisting in customer inquiries, and maintaining sales & customer databased. This position will play a vital role in ensuring that the events are executed smoothly and efficiently, providing crucial on-site support when needed.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare, manage and facilitate sales quotations in alignment with client requirements
• Compile, manage and maintain relevant sales documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all stages of the sales process
• Maintain and oversee all sales billing, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for clients.
• Prepare and facilitate comprehensive sales reports to assist in sales tracking, monitoring and follow-up
• Utilize sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within the sales processes.
• Actively assist and attend to customer inquiries, providing timely and helpful responses to generate and nature sales leads
• Proactively manage, update and maintain the sales and customer database to ensure all records are current and comprehensive
• Maintain an up-to-date overview of project budgets, ensuring expenses are tracked and recording all billing information
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless communication regarding budget constraints and allocations.
• Perform general office administrative duties, including but not limited to filing and data entry.
• Support event planning and execution through effective space management, logistics coordination and other related tasks
• Provide on-site support during events, ensuring all aspects are in place and functioning as planned
• Set-up for event registration & management and support on-site registration
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during events

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Business Administration, Event Management, Sales, Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience in a sales support or event coordination role is highly desirable
• Strong organization and multitasking skills, with an ability to prioritize and meet timelines
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Flexibility to work on weekends or irregular hours, as necessary, especially during event daysResponsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of event operations to ensure the successful execution of our clients’ events with their marketing and communications objectives being met

As an Apprentice, Event Marketing, you will play a crucial role in assisting our marketing team in various aspects of marketing and promotional activities. You will be responsible for producing and deploying social media and digital content, executing email marketing campaigns, and collaborating with media and other partners to enhance our brand's visibility. Additionally, you will be involved in managing on-site marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce and Deploy Social Media and Digital Content:

• Create engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Schedule and post content on social media channels.
• Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages.
• Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies.

Execute EDM Campaigns:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create email marketing campaigns.
• Manage email lists and segment them for targeted outreach.
• Schedule and send promotional emails.
• Analyze email campaign performance and suggest improvements.

Engage, Onboard, and Monitor Media and Other Partners:

• Identify potential media and promotional partners.
• Develop relationships with partners and coordinate joint promotional activities.
• Monitor partner performance and report on key metrics.
• Ensure partners adhere to branding and messaging guidelines.

Provide and Manage Onsite Marketing Activities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of onsite marketing events and activities.
• Coordinate logistics for marketing events and ensure materials are prepared.
• Collect and analyse data from onsite activities to measure their effectiveness.

This is a 12-months contractual position.

• You will be working on Cross-functional external communications. Acting as a trusted Communications advisor focusing on advancing and protecting the image and repuation of the company and helping to meet the corporate and business objectives.
• You will collaborate across local, regional and global teams to share stories in new, creative ways to build innovation and trust credentials for the company's brand.
• Enhance the company's thought leadership in AI, cloud and security through campaigns that create momentum for the company's commercial and consumer offerings.
• You will reach out to relevant audiences by broadening the media and influencer mix, while leveraging owned channels and earned media in creative ways. You will drive global and local company moments through storytelling opportunities that use data and insights, and feature local customer innovation.
• As a trusted communications advisor you will always be working on Employee and Executive Communications, sharing the company's vision and values through employee and executive communications and events.
• You will collaborate internally with key stakeholders and senior leaders to drive an over-arching cadence of communications and programs to employees to inform, educate, and align them on strategic priorities

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of communication (internal & external) experience either in a PR agency or in-house. Prior Technology exposure would be an advantage but not required
• Effective writing skills
• Industry knowledge of/or passion for AI would be an advantage
