1. JOB DESCRIPTION

Receiving goods from contractor/supplier.

To ensure that cargo received are in good condition, weight and dimension of cargo is accurate.

Packing of cargo when needed.

Collecting cargoes in the vicinity when required.•

Pick, pack & label shipments.

To ensure accurate receipt & release of goods with accurate documentation.

Support Import / Export / Delivery functions when needed.

To lodge-in cargo from warehouse to terminals (airline warehouse)

2. JOB REQUIREMENT

Able to read and write simple english.

Forklift driving permit a bonus.

Physically fit as manul labour required.

Posses class 4 driving license.

Responsibilites

• Perform consignment vendor management duties for the control of consignment stock level
• Generate inventory status reports daily for monitoring of NIL stock situation
• Monitor shipment from vendors to ensure timely goods receipt for consignment parts
• Administer consignment purchase orders to vendors
• Generate consumption report for reconciliation and billing purposes
• Liaise with warehouse subcontractor and consignment vendors on resolution for stock discrepancies.
• Provide supporting documents for processing and verification of invoices or credit memos from vendors

Requirements

• Diploma from a local Polytechnic
• Team player with good interpersonal and written skills
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Knowledge in SAP and experience in consignment vendor management would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update records and system data
• Support the new supply chain program implementation specially in system set up, documentation, checking, approval verification and communication with different functional team.
• Analysis the forecast variation and verify with relevant parties before uploading into system.
• Maintain and prepare different kind of reports on weekly basis per each account. Focusing on forecasting and inventory controlling areas.
• Control and manage the inventory under the MRP pool.
• Take the full responsibility for executing and managing the inventory transaction of each consignment hub at system level.
• Execute the inventory reconciliation between hub provided data and company inventory record, identify any discrepancy and drive the solution with Sales.
• Monitor the inventory aging at each hub and expedite the aged inventory consumption with Sales.
• Calculate and declare the inventory liability upon request.
• Support the physical inventory count activities at each consignment hub.
• Work closely with Product to identify the part classification and pass to Sales.
• Work closely with macro developer to achieve automation in forecast uploading process and reporting.
• Handle the ad hoc task assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma or Degree holder with at least 5 years relevant experience in electronics components
• Possesses advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Possesses intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook and Explorer.
• Exhibits the analytical and problem solving ability necessary to effectively troubleshoot problems that arise in all phases of program management.
• Proficient knowledge in manufacturing planning, purchasing and inventory management practices.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high transaction environment with strong organizational, attention to detail, multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Possesses ability to set and track goals.
• Possesses good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.
• Possesses solid basic math skills including the ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• In advantage of the candidate that has macro or EDI knowledge.

Job Responsibilities:

• Address WSH risks from assessment reports to determine hazards.

• Develop forecast planning of resources within business activities.

• Develop warehouse planning methods.

• Develop warehouse storage, layout and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) plans.

• Develop warehousing standards for quality management systems.

• Handling of dangerous goods and hazardous materials.

• Manage WSH solutioning discussions around suggestions to improve existing processes.

• Manage Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities to ensure department compliance with requirements.

• Manage cargo documentation process according to industry standards or sector requirements.

• Manage supply chain security operations.

• Perform safety and health risk assessment.

• Plan the information flow for end-to-end warehouse processes from order initiation to receiving, handling, distribution and storage.

• Review areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance process.

• Review latest technology trends for application to logistics business.

• Select and deploy material handling systems.

• Participate in monthly stock-take and provide monthly closing reports

• Receive incoming and outgoing shipment within the warehouse

Job Requirement:

• At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent

• Experienced/Comfortable with operating pallet stacker/pallet jack

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to communicate in written and spoken English and a positive mindset and “can-do” attitude to continuously strive to make things better
