Role and Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, Evaluation, Contracting and vendor management.

- Utilize the Ariba system to create purchase orders, manage contracts, and track procurement activities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement activities and organizational objectives.

- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to secure favourable agreements and optimize cost savings.

- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain service levels and quality standards.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Conduct regular analysis of procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and process improvements.

- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.

- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain management.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/Business Administration/IT/Engineering or a related discipline.

- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in procurement. Experience in IT procurement, Healthcare industry, formulation and review of procurement policies and procedures are advantageous.

- Proficiency in Ariba system management, including experience with purchase to order, source to contract management, and supplier collaboration.

- Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Job description

• Assist the supervisor in the management of the Central Store Department for clinical and general consumables.
• Monitor daily stock levels and perform stock forecasting.
• Liaise with users for stock requests and perform top up of supplies to user departments.
• Perform receiving, put-away and issuing activities.
• Ensure all incoming stocks meet the specifications indicated in purchase orders.
• Liaise and closely monitor with the procurement team, for all pending and partial deliveries.
• Perform periodic physical stock count and asisst in the coordination of annual stock take in all stock locations.
• Ensure that the HIS/ERP system updates for receipts, issues and adjustments are completed on a timely basis.
• Undertake any tasks or projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• GCE O/A Level, Diploma holder or equivalent experience, preferably in the Healthcare industry
• A good team player with good interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize urgent user requests and manage time efficiently
• Possess basic analytical skills
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Work), knowledge in ERP system, preferable with SAP MM module

• Assist Purchasing Manager to manage the full spectrum of the purchasing process and documentation.
• Assist in budget and targets set in order to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best deals and terms and maintaining good vendor relationships.
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules to expedite deliveries and monitor performance of suppliers for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the preparation of purchase orders based on approved requisitions.
• Proactively source for quotations and do pricing comparison.
• Manage suppliers to meet objectives in the area of quality, flexibility and inventory control.
• Liaise with Accounts Payable with regards to suppliers' invoices and paymet issues.
• Assist in inventory controls.
• Maintenance of purchase order files and relating purchasing records.
• Assist in tender / contract and subcontract documentation and contract signing, project documentation ie quotation, customer invoice, credit note, progress claims etc.
• Maintenance of testing equipment and monitoring items for calibration.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a minimum of 'N' level or 'O' level.
• Those with technical knowledge in Engineering is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Good interpersonal, communicatin skills and strong drive to deliver results.
• Proactive and meticulous and yet able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge in ISO documentation, preferred.
• Ability to multitasking.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
