Our client is one of the leading players in the FMCG sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Warehouse Assistant to be part of their Warehouse Operations team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West.

Jobs Scope Warehouse Assistant:

• General management of the warehouse
• Maintains records and FIFO practices of inventories and location
• Ensure day-to-day activities are according to plan and schedule.
• Recording of inventory (RM/WIP/FG) movements; manage stock counts, cycle counts; highlight and investigate any discrepancies found.
• Receiving, packing and checking of goods / inventory
• Daily equipment checking and annual review on condition
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min 1 yearof working experience and comfortable with cold room environment
• Comfortable with rotating day and night shift
• Forklift License will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Internal Communication – To co-ordinate communication between outlet staff members, central kitchen, and the warehouse department.
• Manufacturing Planning – To review and modify the daily manufacturing orders sent to the Central Kitchen.
• Keying Orders – Receive our customer orders through email/whatsapp portals and entering them into our ERP system accurately.
• Invoicing – Issuing invoices to our regular customers.

Requirements:

• Intermediate level of familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications – Sharepoint, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Demonstrates proficiency in general IT related skills.
• Knowledge in ERP / WMS systems such as Odoo or SAP would be beneficial.
• Ability to perform intermediate level of quantitative and qualitative data modelling combining data from historical sources, existing conditions, and future projections using any software of your choice.
• Confidence in your own ability to independently make decisions in all operations and procurement-related matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills and self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
