The role is responsible for carrying out basic tasks at a customer site or multiple customer sites in a region. All of which can include but are not limited to, inventory management, purchasing, shipping, receiving, chemical tracking, storeroom tracking, and even product delivery.

• Perform inventory management-related functions such as monitoring slow moving and dead stock, conducting cycle counting and yearly inventories, reporting, etc.
• Increase VWR revenue by monitoring customer spending, providing daily customer service functions, and interfacing with the customer relative to inventory management.
• Perform purchasing functions such as providing level 2 and 3 ESS support (B/O, DFS, or 3P Support), managing quotes, document control, filing, and records maintenance, sorting and monitoring reclaimed and recyclable material, resolving open
  invoices/pricing, and forecasting, etc
• Responsible for all customer service related functions including but not limited to: order entry, reporting, basic cross-referencing and
  product conversions to VWR brand or best buy products, maintaining metrics, and cost avoidance, etc.
• Perform shipping coordination activities such as shipping customer material (including hazardous materials), answering customer calls, handling routine issues, operating a hand-jack and forklift, entering relevant shipping information into the customer computer system, and maintaining inspections on safety stations and equipment.
• Responsible for handling hazardous material and preparing shipping documentation and packaging requirements.
• Interface directly with customer POC, purchasing directors, facility directors, plant
• managers, etc. responsible for managing consigned, non-consigned, customer-owned,
• and 3rd party inventory onsite at the customer location.
• Utilize VWR and basic customer computer systems (ESS, Citrix, Info Access, Intranet,
• StockTracker, ChemSW, and customer-specific ERP systems as well as customer-
• specific shipping systems ) in fulfillment of job duties.
• Meet goals and objectives: revenue, safety, performance, and quality.
• Create programs for enhanced service efficiencies.
• Interfacing with manufacturing reps.
• Document SPI Requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education/Training, Experience, and Certifications)

• at least ITE or Higher education is preferred
• 3 -5 years equivalent experience in material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service
• Environmental Health Safety knowledge is a plus
• Cross-referencing and inside sales experience a plus

• Manage warehousing operations to fulfil customer orders on time.
• Inventory accuracy in raw material, WIP, and Finished goods.
• Drive productivity and speed improvement for material flow processes
• Responsible for maintaining high safety and 5S standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand the vision and strategies of IT Management to plan and implement initiatives accordingly.
• Propose and develop processes for new initiatives and operationalize them to improve the IT organization.

• Contract owner to onboard and manage the contract of onshore and offshore vendors with multiple sub-contracts.
• Perform regular review and due diligent check on existing vendors and sub-vendors.
• Establish procurement process and guidelines for IT Department, including RFP and tendering process.
• Establish rate card for standard goods and services as a benchmark for IT organization.
• Perform analysis on procurement pattern base on procurement history and contract registry to seek benefit from vendor consolidation.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or Procurement with min. 5-7 years of related work experience
• Experience in a centralized contract management function is a must
• Good understanding in contract management process and able to understand general contract terms
• Understanding of PDPA requirements
• Professional Certificate in Contract Management, Procurement, and/or Vendor Management is an advantage
• Experience in handling contract management in Financial Institution is an added advantage
• Experience in handling contract for offshore center is an advantage
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Good understanding of MAS’s guideline pertaining to Outsourcing, Technology Risk Management, 3rd Party Risk will have added advantage
• Able to contribute independently as well as working as a team member
