The Red Hat Procurement team is looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager to join us in Singapore to support all indirect categories including Marketing, Corporate Services, Global Workplace Solutions, IT, and Travel. In this role, you will work closely with Red Hat’s leadership teams and engage with Red Hat stakeholders to develop procurement strategies, lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate contracts, and manage key supplier relationships for Singapore. Your success will be measured against business metrics including savings, stakeholder satisfaction, contract management, and supplier management. As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will report directly to the manager of Asia Pacific (APAC) procurement.

What you will do

• Support the development and implementation innovative and cost effective procurement strategies for an assigned category / categories;
• Partner with stakeholders and budget owners on appropriate spending strategies to drive strategic sourcing initiatives;
• Support RFx and supplier selection by driving competitive sourcing activities including supplier sourcing, bid analysis and evaluation and recommendation of business awards;
• Support the negotiation and execution of contract agreements with selected suppliers to ensure optimal terms and conditions;
• Build strategic relationships with preferred suppliers to deliver best value, cost savings, innovation and service level improvements through well-defined performance- based metrics;
• Review and analyze current spend and supplier base to identify opportunities for value enhancement by reducing overall cost and /or improving service delivery;
• Ensure governance and compliance through adherence with regulations, policies and best practices;
• Purchase Requisition reviews to ensure fair market valuation.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field;

• Experience in building relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and suppliers;

Duties

• Manage day to day operations
• Achieves measures of performance in the areas such as unit per transaction, average sales, sales per hour, sales conversion, payroll expense, payroll expense sales, turnover, shortage control and company contests and set daily, weekly and monthly sales goals.
• Oversees and manager execution, implementation of merchandising as specified by company directives to ensure maximum profitability through margin sets.

1. Human Resources Assistance

· Recruit & select staff that meet set expectations and are suited to work in a customer-oriented environment.

2. Operational Assistance

· Ensure daily opening and closing duties in the outlet are properly executed.

· Manage, direct and co-ordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and pleasant method.

· Maintain high level of customer service as per QSC standards.

· Ensure overall store image is maintained and the brand is always well represented.

· Plan roster for operations staff.

· Monitor opening and closing duties of the outlet.

· Communicate daily and act as liaison between operations staff

and management.

· Ensure that POS system is always operational and accurate.

· Provide co-ordination and services for both kitchen and service.

· Report on time, in proper uniform and grooming.

· Maintain workplace safety and health policies and procedures.

· Provide suggestions or develop new SOP to improve operation and employee duties for the betterment of the customers.

· Execute any other duties as requested by immediate superiors.

3. Financial Assistance

· Achieve Business KPIs set by management.

· Achieve monthly sales target and report daily sales and cost of labour of the outlet to the office though the roster.

· Ensure that the outlet budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled including shop expense, cost of goods & cost of labour.

· Reduce food, beverage and stocks wastage in the outlet.

· Managing of daily sales transactions and cash float.

· Monitor handling of dining vouchers, discount, cash, petty cash and tips in the outlet. Adhere to company’s cash handling policy and guidelines.

· Manage overall manpower planning, including planning daily duty roster to ensure optimum use of manpower in the outlet.

· Verify & process daily and monthly roster for accurate payroll execution.

4. Administration Assistance

· Ensure that all the supplies and stocks in the outlet are sufficient for the day to day operations.

· Maintain an attractive and an orderly appearance in the outlet.

· Prepare the daily sales report.

· Monitor proper ordering, receiving, storage procedures are being followed.

5. Promotion Assistance

· Motivate, guide and train the staff in upselling the food and beverage items.

· Attend to guest requests and attend to guest complaints as required. Resolving this at store level though service recovery.

· Ensure that all staff are properly informed daily via ‘roll call’.
