Job summary:
Key member, your role involves managing the entire supply chain to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will lead efforts to implement automated systems for improved warehouse operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and enhance supply chain processes and systems to foster collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement for overall optimization.
- Design, implement, and improve operational processes by integrating automation technology.
- Provide practical recommendations for business requirements, addressing high-level pain points and issues.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and operators on automation projects, ensuring successful implementation by understanding requirements and vendor capabilities.
- Review automation project progress and vendor performance to ensure effective strategy implementation.
- Drive innovation from ideation to realization, including defining automation/technology roadmaps, project budgeting, and implementation plans.
- Offer industry insights on automation trends, challenges, and market opportunities, showcasing how the company's products/services add value to customers.
- Coach and lead direct reports in supporting and developing automation solutions/projects, providing feedback for skill and knowledge enhancement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in warehousing solutions, automation design, or supply chain operations in e-commerce and/or consulting environments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end (E2E) supply chain processes.
- Experience in product management, integrating technical solutions for sustainable operations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight timelines.
- Prior experience with modeling/simulation tools is a plus.
- Direct experience in people management.
