Job Description:
• Optimise procurement and vendor management activities to support sourcing efforts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop IT sourcing strategies that maximise value for the organisation.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate critical/high value contracts, evaluating supply alternatives, developing negotiation strategies, and conducting key supplier business reviews.
• Execute sourcing action plans and assist in optimising sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain business relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for new suppliers.
• In addition to strategic sourcing, you will also support vendor management activities by implementing new vendor onboarding, renewal, and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance activities are performed, and conducting regular risk reviews on all vendors to ensure the suitability of ongoing business engagements.
• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to provide solutions.
Requirement:
• Bachelor or Diploma in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver results.
• Solid analytical skills demonstrated in performing bid analysis, cost analysis, fair-value analysis, and scenario modelling.
• Excellent understanding of 3rd party risk management and corporate compliance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to interface with multiple levels of management.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
• Minimum 5 year and above relevant experience in the IT industry is an added advantage.
