My Client is a leading stable firm in Singapore.
Job Summary:
As the IT Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of designated IT projects, ensuring their coordination and managing interdependencies. This role is essential for maintaining focus, enthusiasm, and momentum across key projects while ensuring their overall integrity and coherence. You will establish and maintain a project environment tailored to each project’s needs, often through an effective project management office.
The two main projects:
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) - Project Management of revamping and refreshing the legacy systems and upgrading it.
Data Warehousing - Oversee the migration from onprem to cloud, creating data warehouse and create master data.
You will be the project manager managing the third party vendors.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sectors such as Manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, Manufacturing, Distribution, IT applications, Infrastructure, and Operations.
Must have:
Currently in a manufacturing MES industry with data warehouse experience
Currently a project manager (PMP)
Experience in Data Warehouse (ie platform) and MES (manufacturing execution system) software.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project management governance and structure within larger projects, actively monitoring progress, resolving issues, and taking corrective actions as needed.
Ensure effective quality assurance and maintain the overall integrity of projects, focusing internally on consistency and externally on alignment with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other projects, and corporate standards.
Manage project budgets, monitoring expenses and costs against delivered benefits as projects progress.
Facilitate the selection and assignment of individuals to project teams.
Ensure new products or services from projects meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and within budget, in accordance with project plans and governance.
Allocate common resources and skills across individual projects.
Manage contributions from third-party entities to projects.
Maintain communications with all stakeholders.
Identify and manage risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
Initiate additional activities and management interventions as necessary to address project gaps and emerging issues.
Provide regular progress reports on projects to relevant stakeholders.
