Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing (Valves & Piping)
• Position Title: Warehouse Assistant
• Working Location: Ubi (Near MRT)
• Working Hours: 5 days, Mon – Fri (8.30 am – 5.30 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading and unpacking incoming shipments, carefully handling, and storing items in designated areas.
• Assist in receiving goods, inspect goods to ensure good quality of products.
• Conduct regular inventory checks, maintain accurate stock records, monitor stock levels, and assist with stock replenishment.
• Prepare orders by finding the products, packing them, and putting on labels according to delivery order/ packing list.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that storage racks are free from obstructions.
• Follow safety rules and procedures to keep the workplace safe.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures.
• Prepare delivery orders and invoices and arrange deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned by the Superior.

• Shift 1: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Shift 2: 11:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• *24 x 7 on call standby service will be required.

Your Responsibilities: -

• Input warehouse operational data accurately and in a timely manner into the Warehouse Management System/Inventory system.
• Ensure the WMS system is kept up to date on a daily basis, including data entry and system maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from customers, addressing their concerns and providing necessary information.
• Coordinate closely with all customers regarding inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that all schedules and deadlines are met efficiently.

You will need: -

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel and Word and experience in WMS (Preferred)
• 2 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse environment.
