Responsibilities

· Assist Test Engineers in leading and supporting Test Technicians for all test-related activities for Server & Rack products in production.

· Support PXE Server configuration and basic troubleshooting for test processes.

· Perform and maintain the server run-in, burn-in, and power test processes under the guidance of Test Engineers.

· Test, analyze, and perform preliminary troubleshooting of production failures; escalate unresolved issues to Test Engineers.

· Liaise with Test Engineers to implement and maintain test programs and configurations.

· Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and efficiency.

· Update and maintain test records and documentation, including Working Instructions and master lists.

· Provide basic training and mentoring to Test Technicians on test procedures and troubleshooting techniques.

· Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and assist in production ramp-up.

· Participate in ISO-related activities (implementation and maintenance).

Requirements

· Diploma in Engineering / Nitec with 2–4 years of relevant experience in testing and debugging in a manufacturing environment.

· Good understanding of test methods, processes, and concepts.

· Basic knowledge of programming and debugging skills.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, engineers, and supervisors.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.

· Willingness to perform shift work as required.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• The reviewing of site purchase orders to ensure that the applicable requirements are met
• The control of on-site and off-site vendor inspectors
• The compliance on of vendor inspection assignments packages
• The coordination and resolution of any nonconforming product Reviewing vendors' QA/QC systems per contractual requirements
• Attendance at the site and inspection procurement meetings
• Coordination of vendor quality approvals when required
• Ensure the verification of documentation and certificates for materials purchased by vendors
• Review of supplier quality plans against contract requirements
• Review procurement documents to ensure that quality requirements have been correctly translated into purchase requisitions and design documents
• Review supplier inspection procedures and personnel qualifications
• Review supplier material certificates
• Take part in supplier audits and surveillance
• Coordinate with the company discipline engineers for the resolution of technical discrepancies
• Coordinate with management for quality improvements Issue nonconformance reports

Job Description

• Checks inclusive of incoming raw material testing, in-process testing, finished goods testing, product shelf-life testing, sensory evaluation of products.

• Ensure related documents follow the requirement of FSSC, Halal and customer.

We are looking for an Assistant Test Engineer to join our Test team. You will be working alongside other experienced R&D and Test team members with strong track records of transforming innovative and complex silicon photonic integrated circuits into mass-produced products in the market. The candidate should also be a self-driven and independent professional who can adapt to a fast-moving and vibrant technology development environment. Most importantly, you should be a good team player with a passion for working on cutting-edge technology and the desire to learn.

Responsibilities:

· Support the daily smooth running of testing line.

· Conduct assembly, test and troubleshooting on products and R&D prototypes.

· Assist in maintenance and upkeep of test lab including test equipment and instruments

· Provide technical and analytical support for the daily lab operation and implement standard operating procedures

· Enjoys exploring new or unconventional testing and packaging processes and technologies.

Requirements:

· Diploma - Electronics or equivalent
