The QC Analyst will encompass a good understanding and execution of intermediate and advanced microbiology techniques (bioburden, LAL, plating and counting techniques, microbial identification, EM tests i.e. air sampling, surface viable sampling, total particulate sampling etc.). The Grains and Oilseeds (G&O) Platforms are two of LDCs longest standing business. The Platforms have an international presence in the world’s major producing and consuming regions and originate, handle, store, transform and merchandize products across the spectrum of Grains and Oilseeds products.

As an Operational Controlling Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to produce and monitor the Positions, FX Exposures and Weekly P&Ls for the G&O business in SEA which currently includes Trading, Marketing and Distribution activity primarily in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Australia.  You will be required to understand various trade flows, trading strategies and to produce high quality commentary and margin analysis as required.  You will also be responsible for ensuring some elements of the monthly closing process, working closely with Accounting.

• Perform inspections on raw materials, intermediates and finished products by conduct sensory evaluation, carry out physical, analytical tests to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Overview of the Role:

• Conduct accurate test analysis in accordance with test methods for the approval and rejection of finished products.

Purpose of the Role:

Purpose

To provide an effective testing and analytical service to the plant ensuring that products manufactured are tested to specification on time and plant quality and safety goals are met. Ensure that all raw material, in-process and finished product testing and method transfer testing is carried out per schedule and per GMP.
