We’re searching for an Supplier Quality Management Engineer to be part of our Quality & Reliability Engineering department to ensure high quality of incoming materials going into the fab with early detection gating methodology of abnormal materials.
What you will be working on:
- Work with Suppliers/Subcontractors to ensure high quality of incoming materials going into the fab with early detection gating methodology of abnormal materials; Collaborate with Suppliers/Subcontractors for Quality Control Development & Improvement Programs; Work with Stakeholders on New Suppliers and Materials Evaluation.
- Execute Certificate of Analysis (COA) & Statistical Process Control (SPC) system for quality control of incoming materials.
- Chair Material Review Board (MRB) meetings with risk-based assessment and material disposition.
- Conduct Supplier Audits and follow-through till closure of Supplier Audit CARs.
- Lead and co-work with Material Owner for Supplier/Subcontractor Complaint till 8D closure.
- Manage change request from/to Suppliers/Subcontractors.
- Work with Purchasing & Material Owner for New Materials & Suppliers Evaluation.
- Maintain Supplier Quality Scorecard to objectively measure the quality performance of Suppliers/Subcontractors and drive for quality gap closures.
- Use Data Analytics to identify opportunities of quality improvements on incoming materials.
- Collaborate with Suppliers/Subcontractors for Quality Control Development and Improvement Programs.
- Drive Suppliers for Ship to Control (STN) or Ship to Notification (STN) requirements.
More About You:
- Degree in Engineering
- Preferably 1-3 years relevant wafer fab experience.
- Candidates with no experience will be considered for junior role, training will be provided
- Candidates with relevant experiences in semiconductor/ automotive industry or Qualified 1st or 2nd party Auditor in VDA6.3, IATF16949 or ISO9001 quality standards will have competitive advantage in this application
- Understanding of 5 Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
- Data Analytics skills using Tableau & Minitab or equivalent are crucial for this role
- Strong Problem Solving Skills
- Good communication & presentation skills
- Open to travel to supplier sites during work (15% to 20%)
