Job Description:

1. Reports directly to the section engineer and/or designate
2. Shall carry out all laboratory tests and measurements accurately in accordance to procedure and upkeep/maintain the instruments/facilities in good running conditions
3. Shall prepares standards and reagents for analysis in accordance to procedure and ensure that all related documentation is maintained
4. Shall perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and write the maintenance report after troubleshooting/maintenance
5. Shall handle ISO Documentation/Raw Data for QA Department
6. Shall accurately update internal Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and monitor the charts
7. Shall assist in training for staff for QC Section-related activities when required
8. Shall maintains and checks inventory of all storage samples and ensure all relevant records are maintained
9. Shall perform receiving of QA department purchase and ensure that received items and all related document are correct at the point of receipt
10. Shall assist in audit preparation
11. Shall support the QA Section in its activities as and when required
12. Shall be involved in near miss identification and provide work improvement (QEHS) suggestions
13. Shall maintains the general upkeep and cleanliness of the laboratory and related areas by performing housekeeping
14. Shall strictly adhere to all EHS/QMS procedures in all aspects of the activities and observe line discipline and 5S
15. Shall performs any other tasks as instructed by the supervisor, engineer, QC section manager and HOD

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate with Diploma in Chemical or science discipline preferred
2. Experience with analytical instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, etc.
3. Ability to communicate clearly in both writing and verbally and good interpersonal skills
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Be involved in supporting Internal and External Audit.
• Inspect Mechanical parts, detect welding and mechanical appearance defects.
• Use measuring equipment such as Trimos, Profile projector, Hexagonal Arm. Height gauges, Vernier calipers, etc.
• Read and interpret all drawing symbols and welding symbols.
• Liaise with external customers and internal teams.
• Provide technical advice and the best method for improving production work.
• Support Acceptance Test Plan / Process Management Plan and conduct training.
• Perform FA, Incoming, In-process and Outgoing inspection to meet the delivery schedule.
• Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated.
• Ensure maintenance record and Production in-process record is updated on time.
• Ensure the implementation of corrective actions/preventive action as a result of weekly Source inspection by customers.
• Compiling Outgoing Inspection reports to support documents in the customer portal, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Assist with Document Control - To ensure all drawings are latest and filed in a proper manner.
• Assists/performs other non-routine duties as assigned by QA Manager

• Must possess a minimum of a Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 2 years relevant experience in QA.
• Experience in Machining, Metal stamping, fabrication and related secondary processes (such as welding, plating, and powder coating) industry will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of auditing skills for ISO9001 and Qualified Internal Auditor experience.
• Good problem-solving skills and analytical skills i.e. good skills in 5S, 8D methodology, 5-why analysis
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
