• Responsible for the colour matching and quality checks of various coatings products.
• Establish coatings formula using spectrophotometer or other colour matching techniques, blend and spray the colour match and perform any corrections when necessary.
• Responsible to manage and maintain global colour standards (BMS, Federal, internal working copies, etc).
• Be the focal point and colour representative for site’s “On-Colour” software.
• Responsible for all Quality Control functions including incoming material testing, process testing and analysis.
• Perform surveillance test and evaluation of sealants.
• Prepare test reports, certifies and release products for shipment.
• Support company’s goals and objectives, policies and procedures in compliance with quality management system (QMS).
• Assist in creating new procedures and work instructions to maintain and improve the QMS.
• Assume the role of key contact person for product quality issues.
• Maintain the inventory of all laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to laboratory procedures, safety rules and risk assessments.
• Other duties include preventive maintenance, managing calibrations of measuring equipment and maintaining a 5S housekeeping program
• Performs other tasks as assigned
• Initiative and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to identify and correct colour shifts and associated colour problems.
• Well-versed in quality tools, problem-solving skills, statistical analysis tools will be advantageous.

Core responsibilities

• Perform in-process, incoming and final inspection (visual and dimensional)
• Perform final verification check of completed jobs (inclusive of documentation)
• Maintenance of CMM and Inspection Room
• Maintenance of measuring instrument (inclusive of monitoring of signing out/signing in)
• Monitoring of calibration schedule of measuring instruments
• Participate in continuous improvement projects

Job Requirements

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Precision Engineering
• Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in Quality function in a manufacturing environment
• Use of CMM and other measuring instruments
• Essential to have dimensional inspection and use of CMM experience
• Interpretation of mechanical/technical drawings
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD & T)
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Proactive and independent with positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results in accordance with procedures.
• Familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and as directed, be capable of providing the necessary guidance to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
• Familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the methods including the scope and limitations of each technique/method.
• Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standard.
• Develop and manage procedures and inspection technique (sheets) for NDT Level 3 approval.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related discipline.
• Possess at least 400 hours of performing FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection)-Aerospace and at least 2 year of experience in dealing with aircraft structures, engines and/or components, or acceptable alternative training or experience.
• Pass the near vision eye test at Snellen 20/25, Jaeger 1 or its equivalent and the colour perception test.
• Possess experience in P&W FPM Code 07 and ASTM 1417 Type 1 D4 a/d specifications.
• Possess certification of a current NAS410 / EN4179 / PCN / ASNT or SNT-TC-1A.
• Possess basic knowledge of product manufacturing, inspection technology and aircraft engine maintenance.
• Possess good working knowledge of MS Office application (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and possess working knowledge of SAP.
• Good team player with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Must be able to work under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Resonsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft component parts
• Ensure parts are repaired according to the prescribed standards and procedures
• Responsible for incoming/ initial, in-process and final inspection of repairable parts/ components channeled into the cell and through the repair process to ensure conformance to related documents and required repairs
• Have available and understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the product being inspected and with other forms of information
• Responsible for conducting the inspection in accordance with Regulatory approved technical data

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Quality Management
• Minimum 1-year working experience
• Acceptable communication and interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels
• Good understanding of technical drawing
• Familiar with the relevant airworthiness and regulatory agencies requirements
• Thoroughly familiar with all inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment’s and tools used to determine the quality of airworthiness of a part
