POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
Years of Experience

At least 10-12 years’ experience in IT operations in a data warehouse / analytics environment with knowledge on compliance and/or has experience completing one audit cycle.

Position Summary / Project Description

Operations Compliance Lead is to ensure the IT operations planning and execution meets the service levels agreements and audit compliance requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

He will understand the operational process from systems administrations to application management and support. He will plan and provide guidance on ensuring that all project, migrations, and support processes are align and compliance with organizations operation and security policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform/support quality activities, resolve quality issues and investigation in RDC to support the continuous supply of commercial products in these countries in compliance to applicable local regulatory authority and the companys global/release requirements.

Document Retention:

Support Shipping and Export Operations Compliance:

• Support Outbound to work with Shipping for cargo readiness and coordinate with our Forwarders to secure flights to meet OTD.
• Review day to day shipping documents and ensure that all trade docs, CI (Commercial Invoices), PL (Packing Lists) and AWB (Airway Bills) in connection with the orders are in place and compliant with shipping practices. (Missing COO, Zero Dollar line item, Taiwan COO issue ship into China, Line item missing in commercial invoice Currency, etc.)

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in logistics operations and Trade Compliance industry.

Your background

• 12 years of overall experience with at least 5 years of Regulatory Reporting experience, coupled with managing a team
• Experience of regulatory reporting processes – ideally involving testing or quality assurance of regulatory reports
• Relevant experience in banking, operations, business controls or risk management, internal audit or compliance testing
• Understanding of Banking & Markets products, services, and platforms
• Experience in analyzing and documenting business processes, and developing solution
• Attention to detail and delivering high quality output
• Proven relationship management / engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with different audiences across multiple regions
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, plus knowledge of VB script

What you can expect

The role involves supporting various SPI initiatives which relate to Quality improvement, Ops excellence, and remediation of risk issues.

We are looking for an experienced associate to join the NFRR Global SPI (Single Process Inventory) team to drive Quality improvement and Risk remediation while working closely with the Report Preparers, Report Owners, and other stakeholders. The purpose is to drive delivery of a variety of projects (and issues remediation), some of which we are owners, while others require relationship building, influencing skills and the ability to maintain an independent perspective.

What you will do

1.Guide the team in the design and building of the Quality Assurance function for testing the Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness of the NFRR report

2.Develop the strategy to align the NFRR function to the enterprise regulatory reporting policy

3.Ensure smooth implementation of the strategy and meeting the agreed timeline – which is usually very tight

4.Create and maintain relationships with Business, Operations, Technology, Audit, Compliance and other Control groups and Stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns pertaining to the challenges and risks

5.Keep abreast of the current regulatory reporting landscape to ensure the firm’s reporting control procedures remain in sync with changes in regulatory environment

6.Take ownership for managing risk well and be proactive in identifying and controlling risks, issues and concern, and escalate timely

7.Track and highlight issues, gaps, concerns and process failures and follow through until resolution or remediation

Main Roles and Responsibilities：

1) Take the lead in promoting the management and control of high-quality development in the region；

2） Cooperate with the Legal Department and the Corporate Development Department of the headquarter to fulfill compliance due-diligence per regional company compliance management standards (including license management);

3） Cooperate with the Supervision and Audit department of the headquarter to implement regional company risk management and comprehensive internal control management;

4） Responsible for organizing and guiding the operating companies in the region to carry out compliance management and internal control management;

5） Responsible for establishing and improving the early warning system of local compliance operation in the region and within its operating companies;

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for day-to-day business data management and regular business report preparations, which includes SAP material master maintenance, data integrity checking and statistics.
• Daily monitoring of basic system health and to flag out any inconsistency in API/System functions when found/reported.
• Daily monitoring of system backend jobs and ensure transactional data are interfacing in healthy state with external/internal system.
• To support Business Analytics, extracting and reorganizing original data, dealing with data related issues with other departments.

You will be responsible for application support, service management, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, optimization and security of the control system.
