Job Responsibilities

- Maintain and enforce food safety management system (e.g. ISO 22000, FSSC, HALAL system)

- Work closely with various departments such as Production, R&D on new products / trouble shooting

- Liaise directly with customers on quality / food safety issues

- Establish and ensure accuracy of information / documents (e.g. product specifications) provided to customer

- Follow up on machine / equipment maintenance

- Conduct suppliers / internal food safety audits and ensure product consistency

- Review and handling of customer complaint & inspection and other non-conformities

- Assess and review inspecting & testing plans, and modify for improvement if necessary

- Work closely with customers on specifications for new products and quality feedback

- Any ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

- Possess at least a Diploma in Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent

- Minimum 2 years of QA working experience in F&B industry

- Meticulous person, with analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good interpersonal skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Overall job objectives

1. Ensure the laboratory is compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 Technical and Management System, Health and Safety System . Thorough understanding of ISO 17025 requirements and experience in implementing and maintaining the standard within a laboratory setting
2. Establishes, coordinates, and monitors the laboratory QA program; works closely with Management and Operation Team to plan, schedule, and implement QA related activities; and ensures that Laboratory Services meets all requirements for accreditation

Core responsibilities

1. Coordinates or develops standard operating procedures for laboratory.
2. Update, revise, and maintain the Laboratory’s Quality Assurance Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and other quality documents.
3. Perform internal audits of the Laboratory, including both technical and quality systems audits.
4. Perform and document corrective action, including follow up monitoring to gauge the effectiveness of the corrective action.
5. Conduct Management Review Meeting Yearly and perform Risk Management Analysis
6. Evaluate suppliers and update Approved Supplier List
7. Perform routine repairs and maintenance of lab equipment based on calibration and maintenance schedule. Communicate with Calibration suppliers and Equipment Suppliers to compare the price and services.
8. Check Lab consumable and office supplies monthly to ensure the sufficient consumable and supplies.

As a QA Executive for Amber, you will play a key role in ensuring the overall quality and performance of the product NextGen Management Systems as well as client websites/applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and reliable platform for our users. You will ensure that the platform meets high standards of functionality, usability, and security, while continuously striving to enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Execution:Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
  Perform manual and automated testing to identify and troubleshoot software defects, ensuring the product meets all quality standards.
  
• Bug Tracking & Reporting:Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
  Collaborate with developers to communicate issues, provide details for resolution, and verify bug fixes.
  
• Regression & Performance Testing:Conduct regression testing to ensure previous functionality remains intact after new releases or updates.
  Execute performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the platform performs optimally under varying conditions.
  
• Collaboration:Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to understand requirements and participate in sprint planning meetings.
  Provide insights and feedback on user experience, and recommend improvements to enhance product functionality and usability.
  
• Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, test scripts, and results.
  Prepare and present QA reports to management and stakeholders.
  
• Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and tools to continuously improve QA processes and tools.
  Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency in testing.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in software testing or SaaS-based products.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with testing in web applications.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of security and compliance testing for web applications.
