About The Role

We're seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team, focusing on automated testing for scalable applications. As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to guarantee product quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate product integration, performance, and uptime, ensuring seamless deployment and user experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Jest (TypeScript) for unit testing and Playwright (TypeScript) for integration and end-to-end testing.
• Implement API stress testing using Locust (Python) to identify performance bottlenecks and ensure system resilience.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and deliver detailed reports to stakeholders, informing product development and optimization.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, focusing on automated testing for scalable applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, with experience using Jest for unit testing and Playwright for integration and end-to-end testing.
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks, with hands-on experience in Locust or similar performance testing tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing standards development projects under the national standardization programme administered by Enterprise Singapore.
• Provide secretariat support to the Technical Committees and Working Groups. This includes preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, report compilation, drafting of standards, etc.
• Engage and coordinate with the industry, academia, and government organizations to facilitate the development, promotion, and review of Singapore Standards and Technical References.
• Organizing key standard launches events and other outreach events.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and launch new standards. This includes conducting consultations and ensuring that standards are aligned with industry needs.
• Assist in the industry and technical research for the development of new/review of standards. Conduct verification studies to identify users of the standards.
• Handle inquiries regarding standards in your area of responsibility, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to stakeholders.

Requirements

SUMMARY
Under limited supervision designs, develops and maintains test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Review circuit board designs for testability requirements.
· Support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of intermittent failures and downtime of test equipment.
· Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through to initial production.
· Generate reports and analysis of test data, prepares documentation and recommendations.
· Review test equipment designs, data and RMA issues with customers regularly.
· Design, and direct engineering and technical personnel in fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment.
· Direct and coordinate engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, record, and reduce test data.
· Determine conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
· Direct and exercise control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
· Perform moderately complex assignments of the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices.
· Analyze and interpret test data and prepares technical reports for use by test engineering and management personnel.
· Develop or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on machinery and equipment.
· Perform semi-routine technique development and maintenance, subject to established Jabil standards, including ISO and QS development standards.
· May provide training in new procedures to production testing staff.
· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
· Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. We're seeking a skilled Engineer, Quality Assurance to join our team in Singapore. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality assurance aspects of our technical areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in our shift-left testing process and entire Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to ensure high-quality products.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define, test, and validate product requirements.
• Design, execute, and automate tests for web applications and backend APIs, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Produce detailed test reports and serve as the sign-off authority for feature releases.
• Work closely with Development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of testing automation frameworks.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, sharing expertise and promoting growth.

Essential Qualifications

Responsibilities

· Assure sites are properly stocked with test tools. And test tools are periodically calibrated per AT standards.

· Participate in the Factory Acceptance Testing in the lab and preparation of FAT plan.

· Lead site commissioning activities of radio-based train control systems, including Functional tests and System Acceptance Test (SAT) and System Integration Test (SIT) and ensure that all interfaces to the signalling system are appropriately tested.

· Lead test and commissioning of the On-Board, Wayside, and Radio system system

· Liaise with Engineering / supplier for any design changes and modifications necessary subject to test results

· Record, report, and endorse test results when appropriate.

· Ensuring that testing activities are carried out in timely, logical and cost effective manners.

· Work with Engineering team for the evolution of drawings (ie. mark-up, change order, and transmittals) until the as-build stage.

· Develop productive relationships with client’s teams to ensure successful handover and post-implementation operation of projects.

· Plan and schedule site ITC activities in accordance to the rolling programme, that align with the master programme

· Produce red correction based on the released drawings and correct and rectify failures occurs during T&C phase.

· Raise NCR(None Confirmity) / MNCR (Material None Confirmty) / Fault report during fault found.

· Consolidate / track the following; records, software, hardwares, field changes.

· Implement field change orders

· Prepare installation and test and commissioning procedures / method statement for the communication-based train control system

· Verify the quality of installation works and raise concern if there is a quality issue.

· Troubleshooting, analysis in case of any issues encountered.

· Able to have a good collaboration with the vehicle testers and wayside testers during interface testing.

· Lead / Support the department for the payment milestones related to the test and commissioning
