Job Objectives:

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall accountable and responsible for delivery of testing services across the programme or project/s

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of test services by Bank appointed vendors in the conduct of testing

• Drive and collaborate with test service providers and relevant stakeholders to plan all testing related deliveries for the programme or project/s

• Works with the testing service providers and relevant stakeholders to review, provide feedback and sign off on the test strategy, test plans and other test service providers’ artefacts for the testing service delivery.

• Coordinates with the Test Governance team to ensure adoption of testing methods, standards and tools, and to coordinate any health checks or audits.

• Ensure that any changes to the scope of services are communicated to the respective test service providers and the impact is factored into the plan.

• Engages with various stakeholders (including but not limited to, application, security, infrastructure, business) and testing service providers to ensure testing services meet the banks’ objectives and demand.

• Act as the first point of escalation for any issues raised by stakeholders on testing service providers.

• Quantify, manage, track and report test related statuses, SLA and KPIs, and ensure that defined testing transformation SLA and KPI targets are met for the programme or project/s

• Participate and contribute in forums, as required, to drive testing transformation and innovation.

• Works closely with the Test Engineering Lead to provide inputs around domain specific test engineering requirements and ensure that they are met.

• To support and advance implementation of the test automation strategy for the respective domain

• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the Vendor Test Managers/Test Leads for the respective domains.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer engineering or related field
• Proven working experience in test delivery or equivalent role with at least 10 years’ relevant experience in large and complex organizations, preferably in the area of Banking and Finance and at least 5 years’ senior manager experience in testing
• Extensive experience in managing end to end delivery of testing services from multiple vendor test service providers
• Proven experience in testing standards, tools, processes & methodologies, frameworks, and various delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall, DevOps
• Proven, successful track record of managing shared IT service development and/ or IT Testing Services
• Demonstrated success in developing highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver collaboration, partnerships and services
• Strong domain knowledge on Transaction Banking, Wholesales Banking and Payments Program. Experience in managing testing on this domain will be an advantage
• Strong attention to details, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in managing multiple external testing service providers
• Experience in managing multi-cultural, diverse, direct and virtual teams
• Experience in various testing tool suites like HP UFT/QTP, LoadRunner/Performance Center/SiteScope, HP ALM / Quality Center, Tosca, Appium, Java, Selenium, JIRA etc
• Must display a high level of professional judgment, commitment, integrity, and teamwork
• Excellent client facing, internal communications, written and verbal communication skills
• Testing or quality certifications, PMP certifications, and Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi) Framework awareness will be preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate transmission of alarms and statuses between the frontend interface and the monitoring system by verifying log data from both sources.
• Act as a liaison between the project team and field equipment, facilitating seamless integration and communication for the monitoring project.

Requirements:

• Shift Flexibility: Primarily night shifts with occasional day shifts as needed.

• Act as co-liaison with instructors of undergraduate and postgraduate courses on the stepped-up effort in Assurance of Learning processes.
• Compilation/organization of electronic, and scanning paper documents to comply with re-accreditation efforts.
• Preparation of documents, collection of data for accreditation submissions.
• Act as co-liaison between the Accreditation bodies and individuals within SMU who contribute to the accreditation process.
• Assist in general documentation and visualisation of data using infographics in reports and/or electronic media for accreditation reports and visits by external accreditation agencies.
• Administration of AOL assessments.
• Assist in organizing the site visits by peer-reviewers of various re-accreditation and external review processes.
• Logistical and event planning support.
• Assist in building and managing a virtual and hybrid sharing space and platform to archive and showcase accreditation material and resources for future audit visits.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Degree holder with some years of relevant work experience. Recent graduates may also apply.
• Good writing and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with faculty, staff, and students.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to prepare informative and accurate reports.
• Able to validate data, identify data errors and rectify the mistakes.
• Strong computer literacy skills specifically in the Microsoft Suite.
• Able to use common graphic tools to present infographics and generate reports will be an advantage.
• Has initiative in work planning and able to work independently.
• Good time management.
• Able to handle confidential information.
