RESPONSIBILITIES

The Job scope is as below:

Conduct investigations in relation to market misconduct complaints and follow-up actions;

Perform market conduct compliance reviews, monitor and implement follow[1]up actions;

• Liaise with the Regulator and relevant Government Agencies;
• Maintain and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of distribution compliance activities;
• Assist in the preparation of Compliance reporting relevant for Compliance meetings;
• Cover duties of team leader and members in his/her absence; and
• Any other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by the Head of Distribution Compliance and or Head of Compliance Advisory for Insurance

Knowledge and Experience

Degree holder preferably with a legal background with strong experience in regulatory and financial crime compliance, prior experience with large insurance companies , Financial Advisory firms /or financial institutions in Singapore is a must.

• Significant experience in the financial services industry particularly handling compliance advisory across a wide spectrum of activities involving licensing/ distribution of Life Insurance, Unit Trust, other investment products.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management and policy in the language of business.
• Experience of dealing with regulatory matters and confident interaction with Regulators.
• Experience of working within a matrixed environment preferred including reporting internationally.
• Excellent negotiation & influencing skills with the ability to engage diverse set of audience both internal as well as external.
• Experience with internal audit function would be an added advantage.
• Prior work experience with enforcement agencies conducting investigation or conducting internal audit review is a strong preference.

Responsibilities are mainly ensuring the right level of internal control and driving process improvement within LFCS and L Beauty.

Coordinate Internal Control self-assessment and action plan implementation

• Execute and coordinate yearly LVMH Internal Control self-assessment campaign. Review supporting documents submitted by process owners, challenge declarations/ratings, and perform substantive tests to validate the accuracy of the process owners’ self-assessments.
• Identify main control gaps, formulate pragmatic, practical solutions and recommendations.
• Work with the process owners to design action plans to address the gaps identified effectively. Actively support local teams during implementation phases.
• Follow-up on the action plans and provide a clear picture of the progress and status for clear reporting and/or presenting to Management

Drive processes continuous improvement initiatives and advocate internal control good practices

• Actively participate in drafting, developing, and implementing standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with LVMH policies and local laws (if applicable), strengthen internal controls, and promote standardization of processes.
• Conduct analysis and testing of potential risk areas and provided recommendations to ensure adequate controls were in place to mitigate risks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide effective support and assistance to the Team Leader / Deputy Group Head in the daily operations of the Operations Control Group (OCG) mainly Account Services, Credit Limit Setup, Audit Confirmation & related Customer Services.
• Process transactions / requests in compliance with the Bank's Policy & Procedures, Head Office Rules in alignment with the local and related overseas laws and regulations. End-to-end understanding in terms of Controls associated with transaction / request processing must be robust.
• Observe the rules and regulations of the Compliance Manual of the Bank associated with the Anti-Money Laundering, KYC requirements, MAS regulations, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent.
