In this role, you will report to the Head of Investment Support and Reporting and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the change in accounting system project, to ensure that the investment related reports provided by the service providers are timely, complete, accurate and in accordance with the company’s requirements.
Job Description:
- Participate in all UAT activities of the change in accounting system project
- Execute UAT test plans including testing process workflow, system functionality and checking reports provided by service providers, are in accordance with business user requirements
- Ensure UAT reports from service providers are timely, complete, accurate and meet the requirements of users, process controls and accounting standards
- Assist to document and collate UAT results and maintain register of UAT issues
- Assist in communicating, coordinating and facilitating the UAT testing requirements and processes with various stakeholders
- Liaise and work independently and collaboratively with the project team and service providers on project related issues and deliverables
- Identify issues and propose solutions arising from the UAT
- Perform post implementation monitoring and resolving Day2 issues
- Support daily business activities during period of parallel run of systems
- Analyze and solve problems without clear precedence
- Provide support on adhoc tasks within and outside of Investment Support and Reporting function
Who we are looking for:
Competencies & Personal Traits
- Knowledge of Oracle system preferred
- Sound technical financial knowledge
- Good understanding of investment and insurance industry
- Detailed and Meticulous
- Strong analytics skills
Working Experience
- Min 4 years of experience in finance/investment reporting or investment operations
- Prior experience as a UAT or QA Tester
