We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive - CIAM based in Singapore, with Mobile Messaging, Cloud Services, or Mobile Technology experience to expand our Singapore Business.

This role suits an independent hunter, with existing working contacts from local or regional Enterprises the likes of Banks, Finance, Insurance, E-commerce, and Logistics businesses.

The Role will be responsible for the generation and development of both inbound and outbound new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be a consummate and credible sales professional selling 8x8’s cloud-communication services to Enterprises and Application developers. This role is focused on the acquisition of new businesses locally and overseas.

The candidate has to demonstrate hands-on experience in building strong business relationships with mid-level and senior executives across marketing, customer service, customer experience and technical teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new business for 8x8 to agreed annual qualitative and quantitative targets, increasing yearly.
• Focused on winning the most relevant key players in vertical markets but not limited to E-Commerce, Transport/Logistic, Digital Marketplaces, Bank and Insurances, and building great relationships with them.
• Actively and successfully manage the entire sales process.
• Manage and develop the sales pipeline, ensuring that all sales administration is kept up-to-date.
• Respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
• Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and any further documentation.
• Possess drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities to 8x8 are captured and explored.
• The candidate will have individual responsibility for new business, and is expected to self-manage; the candidate is expected to work with all internal stakeholders for complex and large deals.

Desired skills and experience:

• Must have at least 8 to 10 years sales experience in the Mobile or Internet industry in a customer-facing role. Previous experience in the mobile messaging or emailing industry is highly beneficial but not necessary.
• Hands-on experience in fast-moving environments.
• The potential candidate is self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
• Able to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and take disciplinary action wherever appropriate.
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with strong selling and sales aptitude.

We are looking for a Director of Marketing to lead all of our marketing activities for the 8x8 CPaaS business. If you have a proven track record of providing clear leadership and actual hands-on work in demand generation programs, events, campaigns, promotions, content, digital marketing, branding, and operations, especially within APAC, we want to speak with you.

This role will be based in Singapore and will report to the General Manager, CPaaS.

Responsible for

• Design and execute the strategic marketing plan for the Global 8x8 CPaaS business that aligns with the overell business strategy, goals and objectives
• Effectively allocate marketing budgets to achieve the ROI for the function
• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to uncover insights and business gaps to increase market opportunities.
• Establish marketing quotas and lead generation to achieve agreed targets
• Monitoring competitors’ activities and share insight into how they compete in the Market
• Develop strategies and lead implementation for all marketing functions e.g., Product Marketing, Content, Campaign, Events, Digital, Operations.
• Ensure marketing goals and plans are aligned and communicated across entire relevant departments.
• Set, monitor, and report on team goals and performance.
• Prepare quarterly business reviews reporting and to present performance and plan.
• Apply strong and inspirational leadership skills to manage and motivate the marketing team to deliver and perform.

Qualifications and experience

• Business Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
• Must possess extensive experience in a technology sector covering the APAC, preferably Globally
• Strong experience as a hands-on leader by example and manager of people to perform at a high level.
• Proven track record of business growth through leading marketing strategy
• Excellent communication, presentation and strategic thinking skills are critical for this role
• Highly skilled at collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast pace environment
