Working Hours:
- 1st shift (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays): 6:30am to 3:30pm (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break)
- 2nd shift (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays): 8:45am to 6:00pm (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break)
- Wednesdays: 6:30am to 4:15pm (1st shift) / 9:15am to 6:00pm (2nd shift) (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break)
- Services not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazette public holidays.
Reporting to: Administrative Manager
Job Summary:As a Corporate Support Officer (CSO) at Fuchun Primary School, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative function of the school. Your responsibilities will include providing frontline customer service, performing general administrative tasks, attending to pupils reporting at the First-Aid Room, and assisting teachers with ad-hoc preparation of resources. You will work closely with school staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and contribute to creating a conducive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline/counter customer service, including handling calls and walk-in queries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records accurately and efficiently.
- Attend to pupils reporting at the First-Aid Room, administer basic first aid when necessary, and escalate medical emergencies as per school protocols.
- Support teachers in the ad-hoc preparation of teaching resources, including printing, photocopying, and preparation of teaching aids such as cutting and lamination works.
- Assist in coordinating logistics for school events, meetings, and activities as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in shared workspaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and contributing to a supportive team culture.
- Adhere to school policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in an educational institution.
- At least 1 year of experience attending to first aid related matters.
- Possess at least a GCE āNā level certificate or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
