Job Specifications:

· Enforcement of the implemented Safety Management System for the purpose of ensuring the safety of all staffs and workers in the workplace/projects

· Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and follow-up actions to maintain high safety standard and compliance to Company's ISO & OSHAS policies

· Conduct monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues

· Conduct accident/incident investigations and recommendations on corrective action to prevent recurrence

· Provide the Safety and Health Committees with the tools, resources and support enabling them to function effectively

· Prepare and submit Site Environmental Control Programme of the construction site before work commences on the worksite

· Provide and conduct Safety training for all new employees and workers

As a Metrology/ Real-Time Defect Analysis (RDA) Engineer in MSB, you have the opportunity to work with a multi-functional team from different areas of the plant/ process areas to understand their tools and processes so as to create measurement recipes that can provide quick and accurate feedback on the product integrity, thus ensuring quality output. As technology advances, you will be constantly challenged with the need to innovate for newer, faster and better modes of monitoring. You will collaborate closely with vendors to explore best known methods to maintain high tool performance and embark on possible ways of cost reduction to ensure our product retains its competitiveness in the market. Additionally, you are required to work in both clean/non-clean room environment

Enable production Metro/RDA needs.

• Provide first level of support for engineering requests, recipe maintenance, tool recovery and basic troubleshooting of tool issues
• Set daily priorities and enable efficient communication.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on assigned tool sets
• Ensure all Special Work Requests (SWRs) are processed correctly and in a timely manner
• Optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization
• Resolve sampling strategy to meet business requirement

Ensure all Metro/RDA tool meet measurement and inspection standards.

• Set up tool qualification criteria, implement, supervising through SPC.

• Set up processes, design and implement process monitoring, control methodologies.
• Establish business process standards, specifications and documents.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Participate in the development of the T&C procedures and adequate method statements based on defined specifications from the system and sub system design to meet the contractual requirements.
• Prepare, manage and lead the on-site execution of the T&C activities until final handover to the authority.
• Coordinate and lead the execution of the Integrated T&C activities (external interfaces tests) with the participating E&M contractors. • Execute the on-site testing based on the approved subsystem procedures and Method Statements.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

EDUCATION
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in engineering, V&V, T&C or maintenance for railway signaling,
• Knowledge in deployment processes of Driverless Signaling systems (or with similar complexity),
• Good knowledge in Signaling environments and railway operations principles,
• Ability to define the testing principles leading to the preparation of the tests plans and/or procedures and reports, ability to define acceptance criteria,
• Experience in leading the troubleshooting of complex issues involving various internal and external systems. Relevant experience in commissioning of complex systems (ATS, SCADA or similar),
