RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all quality related activities at corporate level and on the completed and ongoing projects including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project QA/QC system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
• Supervise the site QA/QC Engineers to ensure all procedures and processes maintain high-quality standards.
• Manage all issued non-conformance reports.
• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements
• Control and the distribution of Integrate Management System (IMS) documents integrating ISO9000, 14000, 45000 and BCA GGBS requirements.
• Manage and lead all internal and external audits.
• Manage company registration and licensing systems to ensure compliance to all requirements.• Manage application of grants/fundings and external awards.
• Manage and follow up on defects on completed projects.
REQUIREMENT (E.g. Qualifications, Certifications, Experience):
• Educational Level and the field of study: Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Type of experience required: 7 years of experience working in the civil construction industry as QAQC manager. The experience shall include in at least 3 years as a QA/QC engineer on site. Familiarity with ISO9000, 18000 and 45000 and audit requirements.
• Amount of experience: Minimum 7 years
• Employee’s ability to commit to the job requirement e.g. work on shift: Traveling project sites to attend meeting / conduct the audits
• Others: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills. Ability with information gathering necessary to develop a thorough understanding of the project
