About the Role

In Singapore’s Enabling Masterplan 2030, the national roadmaps for the whole of society to come together to support persons with disabilities, ABLE plays a critical and holistic role in helping the physically challenged to live with dignity and purposefully.

As such, we are looking for an energetic and passionate individual to implement ABLE’s corporate partnerships, focused on fundraising and volunteer management, collaboration with corporates on joint CSR initiatives, and strengthening ABLE’s purpose and brand awareness.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for social change to contribute to a meaningful cause and drive innovative and transformative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support and Execute Corporate Fundraising Partnerships and Grant Submissions

· Support the senior management to partner with ABLE leadership, colleagues, and Board members to develop and implement sustainable fundraising efforts targeting corporate partners and grant makers to achieve ABLE’s priorities, including capital projects.

· Develop and implement innovative fundraising campaigns to drive corporate (including family offices) donations across digital platforms (e.g. giving.sg)

· Explore various channels to expand ABLE’s reach to corporate decision-makers and donors for both offline and online fundraising platforms to support ABLE’s cause.

· Support the senior management to ensure end-to-end follow-up on strategic partnerships with grant makers and foundations such as NCSS, SG Enable and other social sector agencies, corporate and family foundations, Caritas. This includes grant writing supported by relevant research and insights.

· Develop and design compelling fundraising and strategic partnership materials such as proposals, brochures, reports.

· Prepare regular updates and reports to the CEO and Board members including analyses of donor portfolio and fundraising efficiency.

· Collaborate internally to prioritize limited resources for the greatest possible impact and return on investment, including leveraging technology and social media where appropriate.

· Support the senior management to cultivate new sources of funds from the corporate sector and grant makers to expand donor pipeline and support the sustainability of ABLE.

· Maintain the various donation payment gateways and donor database and ensure timely reporting of donors transactions working closely with Finance to ensure all TDRs are delivered to all donors.

· Support all sponsorship needs of the CPC team including seeking sponsorships for key events such as the annual charity golf and dinners.

2. Support Corporate CSR and Inclusive Employer engagement

· Work with senior management and the various programme managers to explore synergies with key stakeholders and co-develop long-term giving strategies with corporations, partner institutions and foundations.

· Work with ABLE colleagues to design and direct high-impact corporate engagement projects.

Any other duties as assigned by the Head Community Partnerships and Communications.

Requirement

· Degree from an accredited tertiary institution, or comparable qualification.

· At least 4-5 years in a fundraising or similar capacity such as sales & marketing, business development, client-facing role.

· Past experience in the non-profit sector preferred.

· Results-driven team player, with experience working with a high degree of independence in time-sensitive environment.

· Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse audiences, corporate philanthropic leaders, grant makers and HNWIs.

· Familiarity with Corporate CSR/Philanthropic arm, foundations, social services, non-profit sector would be advantageous.

· Experience developing innovative fundraising projects or programmes targeting the corporate sector.

· Experience delivering results with limited resources.

· Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills.

· High level of emotional intelligence and influencing skills.

· Energetic and outgoing personality, strong team player

· Creative and resourceful, with a positive attitude

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience with CRM software.

· Ability to analyze and synthesize data to enable decision making and continuous improvement.

· Experience in donor & volunteer management will be an advantage

Working with FCBC’s Corporate Communications team, the Senior Executive is the point person to effectively communicate the organisation’s key messages, activities and initiatives through impactful copywriting and layout of slides. The candidate must be meticulous in carrying out administrative tasks as well as comfortably write copy for a variety of platforms, and recommend communications strategies and ideas to promote key initiatives to our church audience and external stakeholders, both locally and at international conferences and events.

Responsibilities:

· Content

* Produce weekly meeting and service deliverables including prayer meeting Powerpoint slides, pre-service slides, and sermon slides

* Produce, write and edit content for the website and other platforms to introduce new initiatives, cover events, and share compelling stories to showcase our vibrant church activities, personal stories of transformation, and impact of the church

* Facilitate interviews, support in logistics for filming of videos

· Publicity

* Manage publicity requests, schedule announcements, draft announcement scripts and prepare accompanying slides and visuals to excite and inform the audience on upcoming initiatives

* Coordinate production of collateral including visuals for publicity, banners, flyers, and more

* Monitor news reports and provide regular summaries to senior leadership on topics of interest when required

· General Communications

* Manage feedback mailbox and work with departments to craft appropriate responses

* Assist the Manager on all internal and external communication matters including vetting and drafting of talking points and announcements

* Brainstorm and implement new ways to engage church members and visitors

· Social Media

* Create engaging content to cover happenings of the church, share announcements and impactful stories

* Monitor sentiments on media and social media, and analyse trends and platform performance to understand stakeholder interests and effectiveness of the message

* Any other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

* Excellent English writing skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories and adapt copy to a variety of writing styles and genres

* 3 to 5 years of experience in an in-house communications role.

* A diploma or degree in communications, media studies, English, marketing, digital marketing, or sociology preferred – however, those with relevant experience will also be considered for the role.

* Fresh graduates with strong internship experience are welcome to apply.

* Skilled in the use of common software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint

* Possess other skills such as phone photography, or basic visual creation with applications such as Canva, or video editing with Capcut (advantageous but not necessary)

* Motivated with a positive outlook, and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide personal assistance to the Founder and administrative support to the Director.
• Manage calendar, travel arrangements, and expense claims efficiently using digital tools.
• Organize internal and external meetings, including taking detailed minutes for governance board meetings and as required.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of events, leveraging digital platforms for seamless execution.
• Handle correspondence with government agencies, partners, and vendors through digital communication channels.
• Oversee office management duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Optimize electronic and paper-based filing systems, with a focus on digital document management and archiving.
• Assist in record-keeping, including maintaining legal and historical databases.
• Maintain policies and procedures for Corporate and Brand, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible digitally.
• Assist in brand management, including updates to the website, digital collateral, and social media platforms.
• Ensure compliance with CPE’s Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) and EduTrust certification, staying updated on regulatory requirements.
• Participate in special or ad-hoc projects, as well as miscellaneous tasks, using digital tools to streamline processes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Possess a Diploma in Business or Personal Secretarial Certificate or equivalent is preferred

WORKING EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years secretarial experience serving management
