(A) Job Summary:

We are seeking a Corporate Planning Manager who will work close with senior management to drive operational efficiency and strategic alignment across our expanding group. Based in our Regional Headquarters (RHQ), this role will lead corporate strategy development and foster communication with development partners and corporate clients in ASEAN and Japan. (B) Essential Job Functions:

The Corporate Planning Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Strategic Leadership and Execution - Develop and execute long-term corporate strategies for the Asia-Pacific region, aligning with the company's global objectives and regional business needs. • Reporting and Performance Optimization - Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership, providing actionable recommendations for performance optimization and course corrections as needed. Analyze current and past financial data and performance to support data-driven decision-making.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration - Manage and lead a team of more than 15 members in the construction industry, ensuring effective delegation, task prioritization, and seamless workflow in dynamic environments. Collaborate with regional leaders to identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost-efficiency.
• Financial Oversight and Compliance - Manage financial analysis and reporting to handle financial statements, taxation, and audits specific to the construction industry. Lead financial management for large-scale construction projects valued at over USD 200 million, ensuring proper budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Support the creation and review of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure financial viability and long-term growth.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in an international management role overseeing administration or back-office operations (Accounting, HR, GA, and administration) as a manager and above overseeing the Asia Pacific Region, specifically in ASEAN countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam), Taiwan and Japan. Successful candidate is expected to be in a global construction company for the latest 3 years, ensuring familiarity with cross-border policies of the latest compliance standards and industry knowledge in the construction sector.
• More than 5 years of experience in administration or back-office operations (Accounting, HR, GA, and administration), within companies that require high levels of compliance and corporate governance, such as publicly listed companies, large-scale enterprises, government organizations, or financial institutions as a manager and above.
• More than 5 years of experience in financial analysis based on IFRS, GAAP and J-GAAP to handle financial statements, taxation and audit in construction industry.
• More than 2 years of experience in investment risk analysis in the construction industry for M&A projects in new and existing countries such as Oceania (Australia, and New Zealand) and Southeast Asian countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam) as a manager and above, being responsible for liaising with Japan HQ.
• More than 2 years of experience in financial management of a major construction projects worth more than 200 million USD
• Experience of managing a team of more than 15 members in construction industry, to lead teams effectively and manage time efficiently, ensuring task prioritization, deadline adherence, and seamless workflow in dynamic environments.
• Willingness to undertake frequent overseas business travel.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS

• The individual person will be responsible for their coordinating duties as well as administrative functions.
