Duties of Assistant Sales Manager:

• Drive sales growth by acquiring new clients across assigned trade lanes and cross trades.
• Foster strong client relationships, addressing their needs and handling rate requests promptly.
• Ensure successful fulfillment of assigned trade liftings, promoting account growth.
• Conduct contract negotiations, follow up on sales leads, and resolve client feedback.
• Keep Trade Control Region Prospect updated, monitor market information, and produce performance reports.
• Process credit applications, reviewing and updating credit terms as needed.
• Focus on achieving set targets for both Outbound and Inbound numbers in the Trade Control Region.
• Contribute to full & down loops calling Singapore and optimize business volume for both Outbound and Inbound.
• Promptly file and monitor Agreement Builder and Standard Contract rates.
• Explore opportunities in project cargoes alongside container liner business.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Logistics or any relevant field.
• Min 5 years of sales related working experience.

Job Description

・Prospect, present, promote, propose, and sell company products to ship owners, ship management, ship operators and other clients in local and overseas market.

・To hunt, identify and develop potential new business opportunities.

・To handle sales enquiries, prepare quotation, QAP, drawings, specification & data sheets according to clients’ requirements and specifications.

・To work with sales team, internal and external stakeholders to achieve the required performance KPIs.

・To build and maintain client relationship and attend industry, company events or functions.

・Responsible for all technical matters and documentation.

・Attend and review enquiries and tender documents, its specification and documentation requirements.

・Prepare quotation, QAP, drawings, specification & data sheets according to clients’ requirements and specifications.
