The Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Sales Professional interested in technology, healthcare and marketing. We provide a unique position that integrates the work of content marketing, marketing agency and events services. The successful candidate will be responsible to sell alongside the Project Director and Project Lead based on an annual target.
A brand new event launch
Currently the healthcare team runs a flagship brand, Hospital Management Asia (HMA). HMA helps hospital owners, C-level executives, directors, clinicians and healthcare leaders improve outcomes and becoming increasingly efficient through the delivery of online content, digital activations, bespoke webinars and an annual flagship event that attracts over 1,500 attendees. With a track record of more than 22 years, HMA has grown into a 28,000 strong community across Asia Pacific.
It also has a digital product which offers newsletters, interview advertorials, bespoke webinars and in-person, in-country sessions such as workshops and roundtables depending on the need of a customer.
In 2025, a new brand will be launched to connect innovators and technology firms with Asia’s healthcare providers.
The healthcare division is one of the portfolios within Clarion Events Asia - a multinational events company, that is owned by private equity organization, Blackstone. The Candidate:
Reporting to the Project Director, the successful candidate will be responsible to sell sponsorship and exhibition stands for both above-mentioned events, as well as sell digital offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Introduce HMA and our C-suite community to new customers
- Develop a strong understanding of HMA’s capabilities and offer customers the right solutions based on their needs and requirements
- Write proposals to prospective customers
- Develop then manage key accounts for long term success
- Build new accounts to create new revenue opportunities from untapped segments/markets
- Visits to relevant local and international trade events
- Be up-to-date on the technology and hospital management developments
- Proactive and consistent activities to hit and exceed sales target
- Diligent use of Salesforce CRMs and other workflow tools for sales analytics and administration
- Participate and contribute to internal sales meetings
Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree holder
- Written and verbal fluency
- 5-year track record selling to Fortune 500 technology companies
- Experience in selling event services
- Experience in selling digital products would be a plus
- Obsession with customer success
- Mind-set to build win-win business relationships
- Ability to travel within ASEAN countries
