We are seeking a highly experienced Automation and Control Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex automation and control systems in industrial environments. The role involves expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), as well as proficiency in IT/OT cybersecurity, Digital Twin technologies, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms.
  • Create and integrate Digital Twin models for virtual replication of physical assets and processes.
  • Develop IIoT systems to enhance industrial connectivity and real-time data analysis.
• Systems Integration:
  • Lead integration of control systems with enterprise IT systems for seamless communication between operational technology (OT) and IT environments.
  • Ensure robust data exchange between automation platforms and the cloud using IIoT frameworks.
• Cybersecurity:
• Implement and manage cybersecurity strategies for IT and OT networks.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and secure communication protocols for industrial control systems (ICS).
• Monitoring and Maintenance:
  • Monitor system performance and ensure continuous operation of automation solutions.
  • Provide preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, IT, and engineering, to optimize control systems performance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for automation and control system-related projects and initiatives.
• Documentation:
  • Prepare technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, user manuals, and project reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in system design and implementation.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing,implementing, and managing automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS).
  • Proven experience in IT and OT cybersecurity practices, including knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IEC 62443).
  • Hands-on experience with Digital Twin technologies and IIoT frameworks.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
  • In-depth knowledge of SCADA and DCS systems.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., MODBUS, OPC, Ethernet/IP).
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and protocols for OT environments.
  • Knowledge of Digital Twin platforms and solutions.
  • Understanding of IIoT and cloud connectivity for industrial applications.
• Certifications:
  • Certifications related to automation,cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, GICSP), and control systems are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong project management skills with experience leading large-scale automation projects.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, including ISA, IEC, and NIST standards for industrial control systems.

As the APJ Cloud Security Solution Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role as the pioneer Sales Subject Matter Expert to support the field sales team that are engaged with CyberArk’s Enterprise Customers and Partners by guiding, strategising, sharing of best practices and competing against competition with the ultimate aim of winning deals.

A key function of this role is establishing a highly collaborative working relationship with the sales teams in APJ for pursuing Cloud Security related business opportunities. As the advocate of this solution, you will work closely with the all the functional teams, Product Management team and sales teams to formulate and execute go to market strategy, as well as identify areas of improvement with the aim of increasing CyberArk’s cloud security brand awareness and market share. Therefore, this person must have a good understanding of the current cloud security market landscape across the region, competition and their modus operandi, as well as ability to identify area of focus to drive and achieve maximum returns on investments.

Responsibilities:

• You will establish and maintain customer relationships at the executive, business decision maker level including but not limited to CISO, CIO, and other executives responsible for endpoint security.
• You will develop & present compelling business cases to customers, maintain expert-level knowledge of all elements of the business case, including the drivers of cost, benefits, and risk.
• You will partner closely with Account Managers, Solutions Engineers and Professional Services to align the technology architecture to the customer's desired business outcomes

• A demonstrated history of successful collaboration as part of a sales/account team in a strategic selling capacity.
