About the team

In 2022, trade volume in Singapore reached 1.4 billion across various industries, including commodities, manufactured goods, and food. SMEs within this ecosystem often face high financing costs and limited options. Our Digital trade and supply chain finance team plays a crucial role in supporting businesses within this ecosystem by offering a wide range of financing products.

The team comprises subject matter experts in Sales, Sales Implementation and Product, collectively responsible for driving growth for GLDB through financing the trade flow within the supply chain ecosystem.

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Relationship Manager to join our growing team. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing, and maintaining strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for our company. You will work closely with the Credit, Product and Sales Implementation teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end deal process from client on-boarding to implementation.

What will you be doing?

• Independently source client leads with financing requirements. Develop and execute effective sales strategies and proposals to convert leads into bank’s customers and achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across various industries and sectors. Support clients' CFOs/Treasurers in their strategies and implementation, influencing their decisions regarding financing, funding, and capital deployment.
• Enable clients to adopt GLDB's Supply Chain Finance and trade products. Negotiate and complete financing arrangement with clients and partners while in compliance with the bank’s policies and standards.
• Work with Credit to evaluate the creditworthiness of the customer and conduct timely credit reviews and identify early warning signs of credit deterioration.
• Drive healthy credit facility utilization and actively cross-sell the bank's products and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, product, and operations to provide feedback and insights on customer needs, market trends, and business opportunities.
• Monitor and report on the performance and progress of sales activities.

Who do we need?

• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sourcing with strong network in local (Singapore) and ASEAN markets.
• Preferably >3 years of work experience in B2B sales within a financial institution or have experience of management in social organization e.g., business association.

Job Responsibilities

• Liaise with 3PL on all logistic arrangement/ issue for incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure on time delivery. Issue sales orders and billings for Singapore consignment businesses
• Perform monthly stock balance reconciliation for consignment stock to Singapore distributor/ Ecommerce enabler. To monitor, coordinate and perform inventory-related transactions in ERP system.
• Process and follow up customer PO in APAC regions, including billing invoice, credit note and verify customer PO pricing, and highlight any discrepancy to sales. Follow up with finance of payment completion.
• Maintain shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customer on request.
• Ensure all shipping documentation and authorities approvals are in order prior the shipment of products.
• Generate reports for internal management team and external customers, ie: inventory reports, accurate weekly sales reports, etc.

Desired Skills & Experience

Expert knowledge of Business Systems processes, including Order-to-Cash (Order management, fulfillment, and warehouse management systems), Procure-to-Pay (Direct Procurement, Approved Supplier Qualifications, Receiving and warehouse management systems), Costing, and Plan-to-Manufacture (including manufacturing execution systems).

Expected to have a good understanding of Oracle Value Chain Planning modules with a specific focus and hands-on experience in Demand Management, Service Parts Planning, and Advanced Supply Chain Planning (both Constrained and Unconstrained modes).

In-depth knowledge and the ability to architect solutions in multiple Oracle ERP modules (Inventory, Purchasing, BOM, Work in Process) in a manufacturing environment are desired. Should have worked in industries having Supply Chain strategies based on complex Assemble to Order scenarios. Exposure to Oracle modules related to field service and reverse logistics, such as Depo Repair and Spare Management, is also desirable.

- Experience in MES systems and Oracle Configurator is an added advantage.

- Good knowledge and understanding of Sales and Operations Planning processes is required.

- APICS Certified Planning and Inventory Mgmt. or Certified Supply Chain Professional is highly desired.

- At least 20+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
