About the Job:
As the Corporate Legal Director, you will be at the helm of our company’s overseas legal operations, ensuring that all aspects of our international business adhere to both national and international laws and regulations. Your role will encompass providing strategic legal guidance on company policies, spearheading risk management, and leading the overseas legal team in supporting various business units and corporate functions. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining the legal integrity of our company’s global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
â—Ź Provide advice and counsel to the company, advising on a wide-range of matters including general corporate matters, corporate transactions (such as investments, M&A, joint ventures, due diligence, etc.), financing and commercial contracts.
â—Ź Reviewing and Negotiating various types of contracts and agreements.
â—Ź Lead and participate in commercial negotiations, litigation, investment and financing, equity incentives, listing, overseas mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring projects.
â—Ź Ensuring compliance with corporate governance principles and regulations (including advising on board meetings, corporate resolutions and company constitution).
â—Ź Supervise the company's contract performance and coordinate the resolution of various issues arising during the contract performance process.
â—Ź Monitor laws and regulations relevant to our business and provide updates to relevant personnel in a timely manner.
â—Ź Preparing and delivering training on key legal and compliance topics.
Requirements:
â—Ź Minimum 8 years of Legal & Compliance experience with a law degree.
â—Ź Legal experience in both Singapore and China.
â—Ź Experience in international commodity trading, mergers and acquisitions, legal and compliance in the logistics industry, and negotiating joint ventures.
â—Ź Strong communication and coordination skill.
â—Ź Extremely organized, detail-oriented, with a high degree of professionalism.
● Exhibit’s high degree of ethics and integrity.
â—Ź Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to deliver results under strict time constraints.
â—Ź Experience in preparing, reviewing, enforcing and managing a wide variety of contracts and other legal instrument types.
â—Ź Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
